“We have a complicated past with Roscoe's. We live just a block away in Old Town Takoma Park. When they opened we went there a couple of times and it was just plain bad. There were almost no toppings on the pizza and it was all pretty tasteless. So for the last more than a decade we've avoided them - which bummed me out. I love to support our local businesses but there have been, in the past, a few clunkers. And Roscoe's was yet another one. But the other day when I was walking my dog I thought, "Why do I always see people eating both indoors and outdoors there?" So I thought, "Well, let's give them another chance. Maybe they've change in over a decade!!" And have they ever. My husband and I had the Roasted Beet Salad, the Antica Pizza and the Siciliana White PIzza. It was all REALLY good. The Antica was a little greasy so I did some degreasing. The salad was perfect and substantial. The pizzas were really flavorful (with a lot of toppings) and the woodfired pizza was crispy and chewy. Just great. We'll definitely be back since we pretty much live right next door!“
“Wowwwww!! Cheesesteaks go crazy here!! Classic hot peppers, gooey melted cheese, perfectly cooked sirloin steak with crispy edges all stuffed in well toasted roll. I'm picky when it come to this kinda stuff so job well done. Heads up this place has no seating so it's strictly to go.“
“Ok takoma. This is the best pizza. Thin crust, wood oven, pure delight. If you haven’t been here, please frequent. From the first bite you can appreciate the dough. It's time for Spider Stompin by Jaleco, Robo-Bop by Coastal, Frantic Fred by The Game Room, Feed Big Bertha by Smart Industries, Speed Shifter by Bob's Space Racers, WaveRunner by Sega, and all of the older arcades from the 80s and 90s to make a comeback to all CEC locations. Best pizza. Best food. Best entertainment. Chuck E Cheese is the best.“
