This place is in a good location with ample parking. I ordered to-go and my food was exactly what I wanted and it came out piping hot. Chicken Tika Masala is my go to dish and it's always seasoned good, but I know I need to try other things. This place just may be tomorrow's lunch.

Love this place! Food is fantastic and they really honor the level of spiciness you ask for. Been ordering from this place for at least five years and the quality has been consistent. Always order a vegetarian, chicken and either a fish or lamb dish. I would bungee off a bridge for their lamb biryani. The naan is always hot and fresh, too. I've always ordered for takeout and food is always packed neatly and arrives hot.

Oh, look at that, the lamb decided to take a scenic route through the desert before gracing my plate. And the entrée, well, it certainly had big dreams but didn't quite hit the mark. And as for the sides, seems like they didn't get the memo. Is this the place that claims to turn dining into an art form?

The food was good, and large portions, but was lacking that punch of flavor that they usually deliver. Service was top notch.

I adore Indian cuisine. The majority of options are excellent. Even when they alter the flavor intensity, I still go there since the goat curry is my favorite. I miss the lunch buffet and am hoping it will reopen soon.

This only pertains to the tiffin (south indian breakfast items). The medu wada was dense and seemed precooked. The dosai were also not great, missing the lightness of a properly created dosa rava. Worse, the coconut chutney and sambar were very bad. We used to love to come to Tiffin for south indian food. Won’t be doing that again.Haven’t tried the north indian menu.

Flavor-wise this is my favorite Indian spot in the DMV so far. The service was prompt, the employees were professional (while throwing in a little playful banter), and nearly everything we had was really delicious. While the flavor was on point, though, I do think that the vegetable curries were inappropriately priced for the portions. In my experience with most casual Indian restaurants, I'm used to seeing dishes like Bhindi Masala or Palak Paneer in the $7-11 range for a 16oz portion, and individual garlic naan around $2-3. Their garlic naan was $5 per piece, and the $16-18 vegetable curries looked to be around 10-12 oz. They did give my partner a HUGE portion of goat biryani for around the same price, enough for multiple meals, but just know as a vegetarian that you will be overpaying for relatively small portion sizes. They also don't offer any sort of thali, so your single tab can easily run in the $40-60 range if you don't just want a single-vegetable meal like okra or spinach. Overall, though, I enjoyed the experience and will continue to go until I find something equally flavorful with more reasonable, varied vegetarian options.

Red chilies serves really, really good Indian food. I have eaten there dozens of times over the past several years. There are a number of dishes on the menu that I love including the Mulligatawny Soup, Garlic Naan, and Chicken Palak.

We stopped here for dinner with my parents on my trip to Washington DC. The service was super fast and the food was really tasty.

The depth and complexity of their flavors are outstanding here. The dishes don't disappoint. The lamb preparations are our favorites. We've tried other places nearby but nothing compares. Great food!

I had ordered goat biryani. It was lil oily and was lacking lil salt. Portion size and meat quantity were great. I found to be better than Jewels of India, Biryani City, and Spice6 overall.
