A cute little local bakery/coffee/sandwich place. The chocolate-hazelnut croissant was delicious and the mocha was well made but the BLT was just ok.The man at the counter was incredibly friendly and kind in our interaction. He even gave me a little history on the store.

After standing at the counter for over 10 mins decided to write this while waiting. The staff are just standing there talking and playing on their phones. This used to be my favorite place to get coffee and breakfast in town but the newer staff is awful. On my last visit I watched 2 people just leave instead of waiting.

I ordered a latte that was just okay. My complaint was the service. The young gentleman at the register was not listening. He asked for clarification for everything about my order and didn’t even ask what my milk preference was. I waited nearly 10 minutes for this small latte. I will not be back.

Most vegan UNFRIENDLY place I know. Nothing to eat and no plant based milk either.

They had me at orange flavored scones. And not only do they sell baked goods, they also offer sandwiches. Breakfast sandwiches, cold sandwiches and my absolute favorite sandwiches the turkey with the chipotle mayo.the staff is always friendly, and they never rush me when I take forever to make up my mind. It's a small space, but quite cozy and they do have a sitting area. Parking is street side but it is limited as they are next to a few other establishments. The cheesecake (doesn't matter which one they have the day you visit) is a winner!

So delicious! I took my kids here for a sweet treat. The staff was young but very friendly. There are little nooks for small Cafe tables to sit inside and just outside the shop. They serve hot and cold sandwiches there too. We didn't try them but they looked scrumptious.

I popped into this bakery (first time even though I live in Takoma Park) on my way home looking to purchase a birthday cake for my husband. However, I decided to choose multiple cupcakes after seeing such a beautiful assortment of them. Also, I purchased two deliciously - made sandwiches, and a honey & whole wheat loaf of bread. All I can say is the Spring Mill Bread Company is my new spot for sandwiches, baked breads, jams, and desserts!!!!! I could tell the best ingredients are used in the making of their foods! Everything tasted so fresh and felt so good going in my body! Even my husband was soooo impressed!

If you want to know what makes me happy? It's the joy of finding a new restaurant and subsequently finding an old favorite of mine next door. Spring Mill is a neighborhood bakery where ingredients meets wholesome recipes. Breads can be accommodated for all diets and they have spelt bread which is naturally alkaline for the body. I ordered the carrot cake and banana nut muffin. The banana nut muffin was scrumptious. The carrot cake was moist, delicious, perfect ratio of sweetness, with a tasty cream cheese. The carrot cake slice was shareable. Customer service was pleasant and the atmosphere was friendly. Treat yourself!

Artisan baked goods that aim to please! Spring Mill Bread Company is a local bakery chain that's small, quaint on the inside and has an inviting vibe. The interior is bright with local art work for sale on the walls, indoor seating and red tables-chairs for enjoying your food outside. Upon stepping inside the shop, you cannot resist the smells and wall/floor displays of eye-catching homemade jams, jellies and fresh baked goods including breads, cakes, cookies and hand pies. There is also a menu of sandwiches available as well. On this day, I stumbled on this corner store, in Tacoma Park by curiosity and looking for a good sandwich shop for lunch. Instead, I was blown away with an amazing "Cherry Pie Turnover!" This thing right here took me back to some of the best unforgettable baked goods that my Grandmother used to make! From the crispy, buttery crust to the pie filling that was loaded with tart, juicy cherries....I was in heaven. I actually ordered it to go, and the cashier politely asked if I wanted it warmed. Danger! Why did I say, yes!.....This is what was the set up and what got me. Lol. I literally did not make it out of the store between the smells from the bag and the warm pie in my hand. I couldn't resist. I immediately found a table in a quiet corner to savor the moment that was cathartic and sooooo good. Thanks Spring Mill Breads for the amazing moment, taking me back to some good childhood memories and a delicious little baked good-joy that set me on a pace of "all smiles" for the remainder of the day! I definitely will be back to take in more of their offerings and a "double thumbs up" recommend!

Great bakery options throughout the year not just for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Seder or Hanukkah. Customer service is always helpful and pleasant even when they're super busy.

What a delight to stumble across this gem in the heart of historic Takoma Park Junction! My best friend and I finished shopping at the Co-op across the street and wanted a bite to eat. We were unfamiliar with the area as we live in DC and took a short stroll the historic storefronts to see what we could find.Spring Mill Bread Company looked quaint and inviting, with bright red tables and chairs for enjoying their food outside. Inside , we saw a wall of bread, brick walls and beautiful water color art decorating the walls. There was a couch and antique coffee table made from an old wagon. Displays of homemade jams and fresh baked goods including cakes and cookies lined another wall. We selected our sandwiches and were asked the type of bread we wanted them on. All of the bread is baked fresh from their kitchen in the back. We chose to eat inside in the bay window where there was an ample amount of sunlight. Soon our sandwiches were brought to us on a beautiful platter decorated with lemons. Our sandwiches were huge and required two hands to pick them up! So fresh and delicious, we felt like we were on an adventure of a lifetime. If you are ever going to Takoma Park, please be sure to stop by this amazing place.
