Stay away! We waited 30 minutes to be helped by a server and we were not helped again, or recieved our food. We waited for over an hour after ordering and eventually gave up as it was past closing time. The restaurant was half full and they were not busy.

I would never in my LIFE EVER return to this place.Me and my family thought it would be nice to try a new spot. However everything was ok until it was time to pay I told the young lady Christina she gave my husband the wrong alcoholic drink according to the receipt. This lady told us "oh I'm sorry the one I gave you was actually more, how about you just take the extra $4 & deduct it from my tip" ma'am I never mentioned how much or if I were going to tip you.Then we made it clear not to over do it since the drinks tasted like flavor water& I didn't fuss about the drink she gave him cause we were ready to go with our kids.& he wasn't allergic so we also just agree to not be pest but we wasn't gonna go back!However, I decided I'll tip but I preferred to give cash, me and my family walked over to the liquor store a block over to get cash off my card, when we got there & swiped my card it said insufficient funds. When I took a look at my bank statement it said I was charged 187.83 when our bill was 154.86 The lady tipped herself 30.97 a when I called I tried to ask her why ???she told me sometimes the bank would pay the gratuities which I didn't understand because how does the bank know if I gave you a cash tip or not?Another thing she said hey how about this instead of worrying about coming to tip me just take the money you were going to give me and just spend it on the kids.Ma'am first of all your service was not that great nor were the drinks. & lady I don't need help on what I should do or spend on my children! I got this!The service we received I would have gave her $15 -20 & honestly that's only because I worked at fast food places & it's also how I was raised I won't tip less than $20.....but the $30.97 with out my authorization is definitely ridiculous.

I’m from out of town and am refusing to eat at chains. I looked up what’s near my job or hotel and this came up. They sadly don’t serve the seafood platter anymore so I got the catfish po’ boy and the collard green spring roll. Delicious. There were two ladies working and it seemed busy for the time of day and yet I didn’t have to wait long for walk in carry out order. Highly recommend!

I live 5 minutes from here and I will go to Timbuktu for white rice before I return and waste my money here. Literally I do not know how it’s all them black people in the kitchen and this food tastes like it was cooked by somebody who is afraid of salt, pepper, and pretty much threw all the seasonings in the trash.Like do y’all taste the food before serving people? Because for $18.00 for the fried fish and $5 for a loaded baked potato and $5 for cheesy Mac and cheese im appalled. This “cheesy” Mac tastes literally like y’all pulled it out the water and sprinkled a lil bit of cheese like the salt bae man stirred it around and put it in a cup and called it a masterpiece like no.Loaded baked potato….. but no sour cream? And again no salt or pepper. Then to top it off it was burnt to the aluminum foil! THE FISH WOULD BE MORE SEASONED IF YOU PULLED IT OUT THE SEA AND JUST DROPPED IT ON THE PLATE. AND WHYYYYY did you, better yet HOW DO YOU EVEN RUIN TARTAR SAUCE..?
