My husband and I visited Pro Cakes after seeing the owner on the local Fox 5 DC news. We have lived in the DMV area for years and never knew about this bakery until then. This place is a hidden gem! I visited the shop for the first time and didn't know what to get because everything looked so good. So I asked the young lady (very friendly), who was working there what would she recommend. She highly recommended the banana pudding and the strawberry crunch cake. ProCakes is our hands down go to spot for larger sweets orders! Baby girl is involved in various activities and we like to show up with sweets sometimes! These cupcakes hit every time. They are externally approved by a master baker herself (my wife). Also, they recently began selling snickerdoodle cookies! WAYYY better than Forestville or the old spot here at Iverson. I mean very seriously better! These black folks put love in the sweets. We love to see it
