Brian and Loree were AMAZING to work with. So easy going & replied to us so quickly with any questions we had. The place was very clean. From rehearsal to wedding day, Brian was on top of everything & made sure everyone knew what to do! I HIGHLY recommend working with Brian & going with this venue!!!!!!

Very nice Winery. The venue is great, there is plenty of room indoors and outdoors. The staff is friendly and helpful. The day I went there was live music that really added to the atmosphere. There’s a large selection of drinks (not just wine, beer and spirits too) so you will definitely find something you like. Great place to spend a sunny weekend afternoon!

My husband and I love Springfield! Not only do we love attending the Lavender festival in June and the paint classes, we had our wedding in the ballroom at Springfield recently and it was incredible! We received multiple compliments on the beauty of the venue, the food, the overall layout of the ballroom, and the overall atmosphere at Springfield!Brian was amazing with making sure my husband and I knew how much time we had left until our ceremony and making sure we were hydrated and had plenty of snacks.I want to give a shoutout to Loree and Mary. Loree (Brian’s wife) was so prompt and detailed in her emails. We were able to access Springfield at an earlier time due to our ceremony start time (3PM). Loree answered all of our questions in a timely manner and took care of all of our requests!Mary was amazing too! We had a last minute cancellation and were able to have another guest fill the cancellation at a different table, she made sure the guest who was present at our wedding had their meal at the correct table for dinner.Overall I recommend Springfield to anyone who wants the overall experience at their wedding!

A few friends and myself stopped by for some sunday drinks due the st patrick's day and truly trying to avoid the downtown frederick area(thinking it would be extremely packed). They had so much outdoor seating all around the main manor. We were greeted indoors with a friendly smiley and a shooter that was awesome of them to do! Upatairs they had plenty drinks to choose from. Mocktails, beers, cocktails and the day specials as full size drinks as well. They also had a limited but great menu and a good truck outside. Delicious drinks would definitely go again! Plenty of events all spring/summer long with love music!

This place is AMAZING! We had our daughter’s wedding there on Saturday and I cannot say enough good things about the entire day. From Brian working with us over the last eight months and making sure our daughter’s day was the better than we would have ever imagined. We emailed weekly with questions and concerns. Brian responded to all, ensuring all would be well and he did indeed take care of all of our concerns. We had our rehearsal on Thursday, March 14, 2024, Brian made sure the wedding party understood the ceremony plan, the reception plan and the day of plan. He walked us through the details of the ceremony and had us practice everything. He was AMAZING, lots of patience for all kinds of questions coming from all around him.On Saturday, March 16, 2024, our wedding day had finally arrived. Brian greeted us at the door, made sure all our worries were taken care of and every detail was done before we had thought of it. He carried water and freshly baked bread upstairs to the bridal party. Making sure all the ladies were hydrated and had something to eat. He took care of the groomsmen just as well. He went to the grooms room, made sure the guys had food and water as well. He was on top of every detail and took control of the day, making sure we remained on time and things kept moving.Brian introduced us to Mary our manager who would be taking care of us for the day. Mary was AMAZING as well. She was so professional, communicated very well and let me know every detail of what would happen. Mary came and found me throughout the day to let me know the time and the activity that was going to happen. It was awesome. Mary and Brian were everywhere, taking care of all the details and make sure the 180 guests we had were happy. The food was amazing, Springfield Manor is beautiful, top to bottom, the place is breathtaking. The ceremony was outside and the grounds were spectacular. Our wedding had over 180 guests and we have received so many compliments about our day. All of our guests have made sure to let us know of the great time they had and how much they enjoyed the day.I cannot say enough of the team at Springfield Manor Winery Distillery Brewery, Brian, Mary, All American Caterer’s, so many people. It was awesome, my daughter and son-in-law were happy and their day was extra special because of all the hard work put into it by Springfield Manor Winery Distillery Brewery. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, our day was wonderful and we have such great memories because of you!

The coordination, support and communication at this venue were absolutely horrific. Brian assured the bride that she would be in good hands the day of her wedding, as he took a vacation with minimal notice and failed to connect the bride with Mary, the stand-in coordinator. At the rehearsal, he assured us (the bridal party) that Mary would guide us throughout the day, beginning at 12:00pm. She would do frequent check-ins, assuring the bridal party and guests were all in abidance of the schedule and take care of any essential needs to help the evening flow. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Brooke, the Inn Keeper. She repeated that Mary would arrive on site at 12:00pm. Brooke did her best to accommodate us during this time and was very pleasant to work with. Mary decided to arrive on-site at 3:45pm. As she arrived in the bridal suite, there was no mention of her tardiness. She failed to coordinate a single event for the rest of the night. The bridal party were not given any updates on time or coordination. The bridal party was running around trying to group people, while managing time. All coordination with the bar, set-up and catering were done by the family and bridal party. When it came time for the ceremony, Mary was unaware of the processional plan. To say she did nothing other than fill some water glasses is an understatement. The tables were also set up incorrectly, leaving the best man and guest without a seat. At the end of the night, Mary approached the father or the bride and I to ask if we had people to get our things out. She asked this as we were packing our things up and proceeded to walk away. Mary took it upon herself to put all of the hand-made decor, florals, etc outside in the muddy parking lot in 20 degree weather. The bridal party, including the bride and groom, and families worked for an additional hour outside to sort out the materials. It is such a shame that such a gorgeous venue has this type of leadership. I am disgusted.

My husband and I got married at Springfield Manor last month. If we could, we would rate 2.5 stars. Our experience was mostly positive until the actual day of our wedding, which left us disappointed with the service and catering. After receiving negative feedback from guests and being aware of many issues, we addressed these concerns with Brian via email, but it did not feel like he made a genuine effort to follow up.To start with a few positives, the booking process was easy and Loree/Jeanne were always swift with responses. The venue itself is beautiful. At the wedding, a majority of the staff were friendly and we later received raving reviews about the bartenders- the BYOB aspect went very smoothly. We were very happy with the appetizers (mac n’ cheese bites, beef crostini, jumbo shrimp, and especially the petite crab cakes). However, a lot of these positives were overshadowed by major issues. The owners advertise a capacity of 299 people for this venue, but their team was clearly overwhelmed by our wedding with ~260 guests. We HIGHLY recommend you look elsewhere if you have more than 200 guests. They messed up seating at multiple tables, took over an hour to serve entrees, cooked the steaks VERY inconsistently (some being charred until they were inedible), and ran out of kid meals because they served food to the wrong guests. We understand that hiccups at an event of this scale are inevitable, however we find it unacceptable that Brian/certain staff came off argumentative/impolite towards our guests during unfortunate situations that were not the guests’ fault (i.e. shortage of seats at tables, a missing meal for a child). Ultimately, we do not recommend this venue for larger weddings.

My girlfriends and I attended the Hot Chocolate Cocktail tasting and oooo it was delicious and cozy!! The service was quick, smooth, and seamless. We would give our order at the table and they would text us when the food order was ready. We quickly got situated with our cozy drinks, the staff were friendly and helpful to orient us through the tasting. The interior of the barn was a mini, gorgeous winter wonderland! And we had a spotting of Mr. Grinch I ordered a pretzel with beer cheese. While my pretzel was smaller in size than the order of pretzels my girls received, the pretzel was still delicious. Restrooms are clean and easy to access. Parking is easy, it's just right front of the property. I have been to the manor before to have a lovely weekend, so it is so nice to experience the winery and distillery connected to the Manor! Overall, I had a wonderful experience, I'd recommend checking out this place for any future seasonal events, I heard they are famous for their Lavender events.

Springfield Manor was the first venue I toured in person, just driving up to the property I already knew that this was the place I wanted to get married, it is stand alone so beautiful, and after meeting Brian I was completely sold.Brian and Loree were so wonderful to work with, they answered any questions I had quickly and were willing to accommodate a few last minute things that popped up.The day of the wedding itself, Brian was there to bring me and my husband water, he made sure we were able to have our wedding appetizers and have drinks in hand right after the ceremony. He also was a huge help with talkative guests, a few time when we tried to eat people came up to chat but Brian showed up to save the day and redirect guests so we could have a moment to eat. There is so much I loved about this venue that it would be impossible to list everything.Food & drinks: Every time we come I always get the cocktail flights, they are so good :)

Springfield Manor will always have a very special place in my heart, both personally and professionally.Personally: I got married at Stone Manor, their former sister property. The day after our wedding, our friends and family met us for a winery afternoon. It was one of the highlights of our wedding weekend!Professionally: I now own Sunflower Wedding Coordination and have the honor of being a preferred vendor for Springfield. Springfield is by far my favorite venue to coordinate weddings at! Everything runs as such a well oiled machine. It’s amazing that tables/chairs are included, you can provide your own alcohol (highly recommend Gateway Liquors though!), and they have a fabulous caterer that works magic and serves amazing food at every wedding. As a former bride and now coordinating many weddings, I’ve also grown close to the manager, Brian. He’s one of my favorite people! I have coordinated weddings at 25+ venues, and I can truly say that out of all venues I’ve been at, Brian is one that truly goes above and beyond his role. For example, one time I visited the venue for a walkthrough with a couple, and Brian was out working on the lawn because he wanted to make sure it looked perfect (truly, what does this man not do?!). On wedding days, he’s always nearby to offer a lending hand, make sure brides and grooms always have food/drink, ensure proper flow of the day, help put out any hiccups or fires in the background, and so much more. Even when I’m there with an assistant, Brian’s still around and is so helpful. I’d highly recommend Springfield for any future couples, and can absolutely promise and assure you that you’re in the best hands with the venue staff and catering!

What a gem of a place open on weekends with a tasting bar for spirits so you can try before you buy! Outdoor music food truck and beer and sangria! What an amazing view as well worth the ride

There is so much i can say about this place and the people who hear. But I’ll keep it short and simple. Find this wonderful winery almost two years ago and have introduced our friends to our favorite spot that now it’s theirs. The food is delicious and they always have food trucks there too. It’s always a great environment and great time. The staff at this point i feel like they are family to me. They are family owned and most of the staff are the children of the owner. So if you come on a regular they’ll know you and you get to know about their business a little more and more. They also have weekend events like yoga with goats and paint your pets. They also do trivia night on different Categories.Overall it’s wonderful place.

We went for the Halloween activities on a Saturday afternoon and had a lovely time. EVERY SINGLE STAFF MEMBER was so kind, positive, and appeared to enjoy their job. There were adorable decorations and the cocktails were fabulous and fun. Best of all, we were able to bring our dog! A must visit- so beautiful!

We had the most magical wedding at Springfield Manor! Not only is the venue breathtaking, but the professionalism and assistance of Brian and his staff at Springfield made the entire day a breeze! The catering, provided by Great American Caterers, got tons of compliments by our guests and was absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend having your wedding at Springfield if you want a beautiful space with the most helpful staff!!
