If I could have rated this a zero, I would have. My sister & I got a philly cheesesteak on Friday, December 22, 2023. We ate and it was not very tasty, but we just thought maybe it was a one-off. Literally within 10 minutes after eating I had instant diarrhea. That continued for the next 48 hours. Within a few hours after eating (and she had not eaten anything after the sub), my sister began having violent fits of throwing up. Then, for the next several days she experienced diarrhea. Both of these could have only been a result of this philly cheesesteak, as neither of us had eaten anything before or after. We will never go back to this location and my sister was so ill that she is never going back to ANY Charley's at all. If you decide to go to this location, please BEWARE!!!

The food was fine, but the employees were so rude when I asked questions. I returned the same energy back. Then the man that made my sandwich got mad because I asked if he put ranch on my sandwich and he didn't, a sandwich that literally STATED on the menu that ranch is included.This was by far the worst location I’ve been to.

I’ve been searching around since I’ve moved to Towson for the best cheesesteak around, and here I have found it!! It was perfect! I got the Philly cheese steak and it was just what I was craving! The small size is perfect, and I got some cheese fries on the side as well, which were absolutely delicious! If you love a good cheesesteak, this is the place for you!!

Disclaimer: Never have eaten here.Friday I visited this mall with my sister. Before arriving I had been dealing with painful spasms in my hand which resulted in my hand locking or freezing in place. Once arriving to the food court I noticed the condition was only getting worst and was told I need to eat mustard to hydrate myself which would help. I ordered food from a place next to Charley's. Afterward I went over and asked them for a single mustard packet, one guy responded no. You would assume they have mustard because they sell sandwiches right? The first guy who responded didn't give me a chance to explain why I needed mustard and went about his way. The next guy I asked.. same thing. Then, the third guy I asked whom was at the register did the exact same thing. I Went on to ask him "So you sell sandwiches but don't have any mustard packets for the sandwiches? He responded: I don't have mustard packets but we do have mustard. Irritated because now I realized they didn't want to give me mustard because I didn't order from them. Thankfully someone at chik fila listened and gave me mustard to stop the spasms! Management, please hire more compassionate employees! Gladly my issue wasn't as serious but what if someone else whose having a serious health issue goes to them looking for help? And they turn them away because they havent ordered!?

if you're a non hispanic person of color (especially black) i recommend not giving these clearly prejudiced people your money.. i (a fellow retail worker) understand the employees are tired and have to deal with people's BS all day but the way i was just treated was inexcusable.

Rude, unpleasant, disrespectful, and arrogant. Will absolutely never patronize this business again. So I guess I came on a good day judging from some of these reviews. I'm a big Philly cheesesteak fan and for what it's worth, Charleys at Towsontowne Mall unexpectedly delivers as good a cheesesteak as anywhere outside Philadelphia. It's not a true Philly style. There's no whiz, and the onions in Philly cheesesteaks come through on their own flavor merit. But Charleys fresh subroll and perfectly cooked steaks (not overly greasy) do the job. Definitely will hit this spot when I'm back.

Was in the mall celebrating my daughter's birthday when we stopped to eat, my daughter and I came to Charley's and the individual behind the counter was on his phone and NEVER acknowledged me until I said hello and then he said what do you want? Smh from there he took my order and then asked was I done snapped his fingers at me and told me to hurry up! He was so very rude, and disrespectful! I asked to see a Manager and I guess he was cooking looked at me but never came over. I will NEVER eat at this location. Its sad to know that so many people want and need jobs but yet this grewone man could careless about his job or his customer service. I cannot believe he acted that way but the lady in front of us said he was rude to her also, just terrible.
Well if you’re looking for a chicken box in Towson mall here it is. Food is finger licking good.
