Good but a lil pricey

Over priced candy store. Some of the candy was stale mixed in with the fresh candy.

My chocolate place. They used to have more variety, but it's good both for the sweets they produce and for the European chocolate they import (impossible to fond elsewhere)

I didn't get the right truffles, but the staff was really nice and the whole store was definitely a great experience.

So my wife and I go to Towson Town Center around once a month to have a meal and go to L&P for some interesting sodas and sweets. We love the aesthetic, selection, and excitement of shopping there. Today's trip, though, was exceptional in the trust sense of the word.My wife was picking out some truffles while I perused the soda selection, and upon picking two bottles to purchase, over slipped from my grasp and shattered, leaving a mess of glass and cherry soda and my hands with some open wounds. I wish I had asked for the some employee's name before eventually leaving (this was around 2:30 on Thursday, August 4th), as she was unfailingly kind and helpful in spite of the chaos my clumsiness caused. She provided a first aid kit and the sink for me to clean and bandage my wounds, and she was graceful and so thoughtful as she refused my repeated offers to help clean up the mess (which I probably shouldn't have been doing anyway, but I was responsible and felt awful). She even handled other customers expertly while my wife attended to me behind the counter. In all, my wife and I love the store for completely retail-oriented reasons, but the way we were treated in the face of a pretty chaotic and messy situation was simply remarkable. This location already hooked us as customers, but it now has my appreciation and admiration as well. To the young woman working, thank you so much; you're awesome!

Within the last 7 days, a manager at the Towson. MD store changed the CORPORATE loyalty rewards redemptions - without corporate permission or approval - and refused to honor a 50 pt redeem for a small jar of candy. The store also failed to notify loyalty members of the change in advance (I would have redeemed my entire balance last weekend, had I known). Of course no notification was sent because it is a Towson store management issue only. I called the Annapolis store and contacted corporate to confirm it is only this store not honoring the company-wide loyalty program. Annapolis said they are still following the corporate program, as they should! I have filed a formal complaint to corporate and refuse to shop here again until her behavior is addressed. The associate training at the store is also deplorable, as the young girl had to text her manager to confirm they were no longer honoring the reward and gave some BS excuse about price increases and offered me a pre-filled jar of poor gummy flavors for 3x the points (150). So instead of getting my free redeem and spending an extra $30-$50, I walked out furious and empty handed.

Small and expensive. They did not offer a lot of varieties of candy types.
