Literally got 4 pieces of oxtail for $24 and one was a huge piece of fat. Very disappointing. When I called to complain I was told the next time I order make a note so they can give me an extra piece. Next time where?Packing of the food is sloppy as well. Too bad I used an iPhone 15 pro to take those pics as it makes them look good.Tastes is not all that either.

Nope! Place was empty! I thought is was closed.. I ordered a Brown stew chicken and was charged a Large.. (I did not say what size).. The man came out with a Tiny container and give me 2 pieces of chicken over the the rice and peas and piled all this unnecessary junk on my food.. Then he had the nerve to take the stem off the top...I'm Done!!! Never Again!! Dry Beef Patties from last weekend....

Friday 16th February 2024!I love these ppl food, not sure what happened tonight.The food had no taste, the rice dry and the Oxtail was dry and lacked taste.To top it off no jerk sauce at the side as requested for the Jerk chicken.The fried plantain wasn't sweet, appeared a bit green.For $80.00 I was very much disappointed.A bit bewildered if they change chefs or the chefs was probably in a sour mood.

The quality has gone down and the price has gone up. I ordered the jerk pork and usually it's pretty good. Today it was pretty much inedible. I should have gotten the jerk chicken this time.Not sure if there was a different cook or if something changed but this is pretty disappointing since I always recommend this spot to friends and family

I ordered a large jerk chicken platter yesterday and a large curry chicken platter which came to about 45 dollars including a beef patty the portions were so small I asked if it was a large the contest to say yes it is a large the jerk chicken was one quarter chopped up and the curry was a mere 4 chunks of chicken this was a total rip-off and I will never return to this store for food again

Definitely will reconsider buying my curry chicken from here. I know prices have increased, but to receive 4 pieces of chicken for $20.00 is a rip off . I will take my $20.00 elsewhere and get a whole char broil chicken instead of 4 half legs

Went Today & Ordered The Red Snapper Escovitch With Rice & Peas & Cabbage. Everything Was GREAT! The Customer Service Was Amazing, They Were Patient With Me Because I Was Indecisive On What I Wanted. Decided On The Snapper & Glad I Did, It Was AMAZING. I'll Definitely Be Back! Pardon The Picture, I Started Eating! Lol

I use to order Jamaican food many years ago at this location when they were only a food truck. The food was extraordinarily delicious then and now. It was a happy surprise to see they were still at this location after all these years. Soon as I walked in all the good memories from years ago came back, because I never forget a great experience. Me and my daughter went in to order food for our family. We ordered King Fish and Oxtail meals with beans and rice & potato salad. The food was fresh, and so much flavor in every bite. We loved the delicious authentic Jamaican food taste that we don't get anywhere else in the DMV. Customer service is excellent. The atmosphere is nice where you can sit and eat your food. Jamaican Gee's food is cooked with love, and worth the money. I will be back again and again.

We ordered two Escoveitch Red Snappers, Oxtails, Curry Goat, Curry Chicken, Americano Fried Chicken. Always 1 piece. You know they have the Best Authentic Jerk Chicken fresh off the flaming custom-designed grills in the front. Everything was like back home or when the DC area had the best award-winning Sweet Mango Cafe and many others in the 70s to the first decade in this century. Same Yardies! Indeed, they are building and remodeling non-stop for the folks who want to dine in that breathtaking upscale decor. However, do you get a meal that satisfy a real hunger and more. Affordable prices. Service is like any other. Hit or miss depending on staff. I love ethnic carry-outs and fine dining restaurants.
