We were on the fence about trying this place after reading the reviews. Someone else commented that the food looks better than it tastes, and they were absolutely right. We got the wings and crab dip combo. Wings were ok, but the dip was some of the worst I've tasted. The fries tasted like they had freezer burn. Also got the turkey burgers sliders for the kids. When we got home it was a full size burger and tasted horrible. Needless to say we won't be back.

Loved it here. Looks amazing after the renovations! More space for bands to play. The new stage seating looks very vip as well. Looking forward to partying again soon

Management has a very Nasty attitude. I'm assuming the owner. No customer service whatsoever. No one even greeted you and you had to pay $25 to get in. Security was rather rough when frisking as you entered. IF they didn't have a decent live band they would not have patrons. Food was mediocre and on the salty side. Drinks were weak and expensive. I will never return and will definitely tell everyone I know to never go. Small venue, and charge too much for seating. If you don't pay $50 for a table of 4, then you standing all night. Also, they have a shabby little ramp to go into the other room which is a safety hazard. The employees that are security were rushing and cussing people to get out at the end of the night. I wish I could support this black owned business, but I can't. Super ghetto . I only gave 1 star because I had too...

I was in the area and decided to stop in to have dinner with my son. It was early (around 5p) on a Saturday so there weren't many people inside yet. We were greeted and choose to sit at a high top table. The restaurant had a small lounge area, section for live music/entertainment, and tables/chairs, and a full bar. The waitress/bartender was a doll! She was very attentive, efficient, and communicative. She had such a warm presence. We ordered small Caesar salads (which were actually pretty large), catfish bites, crab fries, and wings. Our order came out immediately and was so delicious. The crab fries were a little different than what I'm used to in Baltimore but they were still very good. Overall, we had good food (not great but very good). Even the salad was good lol. Our waitress kept our drinks filled, napkins replenished, and even gave us extra sauces. We literally didn't have to ask for anything. The restaurant is a little small so I would imagine that weekend nights would probably be packed. It's a bar setting so it wouldn't be appropriate for kids at night but we didn't have any issues in the early evening. The restaurant is located in a shopping center so parking was readily available and free. The building could use some renovations but it seems like they know how to have a good time in there. Hopefully I'll be in the area again to attend some of their adult events (karaoke, live music etc). FYI: they do add an automatic gratuity to your bill. I think they added 18% for gratuity but I didn't mind. I always tip 18-20% for good service anyway. The service was worth it and the food was banging. I really enjoyed my server speaking to both my son and I. She made him feel present instead of skipping pass him to direct all communication through me. My son said it made him feel important lol. I'm giving it 4 stars for good food, great customer service, and needing and updated decor/renovations.

The food here was nasty. Taste like it came from a food truck that was not equipped with a oven, but it has a microwave. I definitely support black owned businesses but this place just did not do it for me. I had the crab fries.

Went to this lounge for the first time and it was an awesome experience! The fried shrimp, cornbread waffles and chicken pasta was fantastic- well-seasoned and hot (temperature). I wish I could remember the name of our bartender (hair in two buns and beautiful eyelashes), but she made excellent Lynchburg Lemonade and Patron Margarita. The people here are so nice and welcoming! It was great to be in an environment of people like me who were so friendly! I'll have to go back for the Thursday night Karaoke because I hear it's really fun. Great time!

Nipseys nightclub is the most ratchet place I've ever been too. Security beats on women and owner condones this mess. seen it with my own two eyes. Security beat that woman as if she was a man on the street. the officer name is either Hopkins or hochkins. he's short, cocky, dark skinned with a beard. After he beat that woman he laughed about it. Owner saw everything and did nothing.
