Weird experience. Neutral with a tint of unfriendly customer service? Idk it was weird. As an ally to the gays , I was excited to see all of the social activist stickers. Many of the symbols I was unfamiliar with so I asked what they meant. They said they had no idea and they just get a big pack so they put them out. Idk that was weird. Finally, our 3 sandwiches took 30 minutes to make and that was weird too. The sandwiches were weird but they were fine tasting. My soup was served in a to go coffee cup (which is fine) but it was room temperature and cold at the same time (probably because they microwaved it in the cup). Anyway, won't be back but try it for yourself!

Came in on a rainy Saturday and had such a warm and cozy experience. I had a s’mores latte that was great, and relaxed for quite a while in one of the comfortable arm chairs. The cafe is very inclusive for anyone and staff was friendly. Good variety of coffee flavors and food options on the menu as well.

As we walked in we were not greeted. Had to ask if we order and then sit. Were three of us. We ordered three sandwiches, nothing big or special. After 45 minutes waiting for our meals we asked one of the waiters and she said “it’s coming!” And mumbled something nasty as she walked away. Another 10 minutes had to passed before we got our food. Overpriced. Awful service. Unfortunately the tip is paid after ordering and paying, which we gave a 17% tip.

Love this little gem! I work just down the street and this was a perfect spot to grab. Coffee with coworkers and have our holiday outing! The food was delicious and they offer healthy vegan & vegetarian options on the menu! The books make the shop so adorable! So much character.

If you'd like to have a simple, undersized wrap for $13.75 and from the time you walk in, be first in line, order and have 20+ minutes pass with a smile before your order is ready, you're in the right spot.

My boyfriend and I were excited to try a different sandwich shop. The place looked cutely decorated with a lot of books and the sandwich's online looked really good. We were ordering to go and we were told that the food would take 30 minutes. We said we were fine with the wait and understood it was a weekend so they were busy. My boyfriend has a dairy allergy and he made sure to tell them that when he asked for no cheese on his sandwich. The wait ends up being an hour (which again they said 30 mins) and we get home to eat our food and they melted cheese onto his sandwich. After this experience we aren't sure if we'd come back even though I enjoyed my sandwich and the atmosphere

We went to Birdies for the first time to have breakfast. We ordered a black bean burger on the pretzel roll and a breakfast sandwich wrap accompanied with some coffee. The Good:The décor of Birdies has an eclectic character, charm and warmth and is very unique. The gourmet coffee was excellent. The Bad:The food that was served was all processed food that I believe was cooked in a microwave or toaster oven as that was all that I saw in the kitchen. This was disappointing because we were expecting at least a few items to be homemade based off of what we read on their web page. The black bean burger was edible but the breakfast wrap tasted like it came out of a vending machine.Summary:I think that Birdies is the real deal for espressos, cappuccinos and the like, and is a nice little retreat. But if you are thinking of getting a bite to eat, I would pass.Parking: Parking was a bit challenging since it is located on main street.

Quite literally the tastiest pastries I’ve ever had. Everything here is served fresh and warm, ready to eat.The staff is very friendly and patient, and can get you in and out fairly quickly. This can be a busier place during breakfast and lunch time, but it’s not likely you’d wait any longer than 20 minutes to get your order. Definitely worth a quick trip if you have some time!
