Wow! What a gem of a place. The food is excellent. We had a spinach salad and added blackened salmon. Incredible!!! We enjoy a wide variety of beer. We tried their Sun’s Up Citrus Rye. Again, outstanding. Very refreshing. I highly recommend Bud’s.

I was hoping that I would be able to write a great review for this place but after last nights visit that won't be happening. Upon entering the building the confusion set in. We walk in and are in the bar. Standing awkwardly I ask the bartender we were looking for the dinning room and she says we could sit at a table in the bar or go to the dinning room. She lead us to a door off the bar that enters to the dinning room. I found this a little strange. I thought maybe I used the wrong entrance but as far as I can tell it's the only way in. Our server was very nice and did her job well. She was knowledgeable about menu items and told us about the specials of the night. They all sounded good so we went with those. Chicken curry soup, a fancy salad with goats cheese and roasted walnuts, and a fried halibut with couscous and broccolini. The soup tasted like cream of potato, not even a hint of curry, the salad was very good but the halibut plate, my god what a let down. A small, probably frozen filet, with no seasoning, and so overcooked and dry, I was at a loss for words. I'm not one to send orders back nor for confrontation. The fact that it was sent out in this condition gives me no hope that whoever cooked it has any idea of what they're doing in a kitchen. And to top it off the halibut "special" was $40! I had no idea it was that price until til we received the bill. So $150 later we both vowed to never visit again. What a shame.

Delicious, fresh homemade food. Everything was so good and our server Billie Jo was so warm and friendly and described all the special dishes in a way that made you want to try them all. I got the Maryland crab soup, the chicken salad sandwich, a delicious sprout salad with cranberries, pecans, and house made balsamic vinaigrette, and we split a slice of cheesecake and raspberry chocolate chip bread pudding. Everything was fantastic and we are definitely coming back!

Service was delightful. There was a good selection of menu options. Delicious cream of crab soup loaded with lumps of crab meat. The blackened tuna was done to perfection. Everyone enjoyed their meals.
Went for Valentine's Day. The portions were a bit small but the food overall was good. Avoid the micro greens salad unless you want to eat something that tastes like the pulled it right out of the ground.

Let's just say lunch today was a huge disappointment. After effects were not good either. Don't think I'll be back. Probably just my bad luck.
