I had the lunch buffet. The food was hit and plentiful. The salad bar had a great variety of ingredients for salad and other dishes like pasta salad, potato salad, coleslaw, beets, hard-boiled eggs, etc. The servers and cashiers were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean and seemed to be renovated since I had been there about 5 years ago Overall it was a pleasant lunch at a reasonable price. There were several other lunch specials the day I visited.

Last time I was there they took half the stuff off the salad bar and they made you ask for for soup ! It was some ridiculous price ! I would not go back !

I haven't been to Bullocks since the new ownership but they have catered a couple of work events and wow is their fried chicken good . So good it reminds me of living in the farm and momma frying up the yard bird herself .

Got the corned beef platter for St Patrick's Day and the meat was barely edible. Very tough and full of fat. Little to no flavor. Very disappointing for $23. I expected better :(

Fried chicken was dry. Grilled pineapple on the ham was good. You get one plate and bowl for the salad bar and soup. So if you eat your salad you have a dirty plate for dessert? We went at 6:40 pm they closed at 7:30 pm. Wasn't time to get dessert, and the salad bar was up, but all utensils were removed by 7:15. Decent price and will try back again. There are soft drinks , water, beer and wine menu.

Ordered a half cow for our yearly meat and was able to customize the size of our roast for two people. I was able to get bones for my dogs at no extra cost .

The crab cakes were “fishy”. They no longer have battered and fried pork chops. My husband and I drove an hour just to be disappointed. . At least the salad bar was up and yummy.

Bullock's has home made food from fresh meat, locally owned, friendly as can be. Their fried chicken is well known and great for family gatherings or just family dinner. When you eat in, the salad bar has so many choices, and the restaurant has a comfortable homey feel.1/2024 WOW, what a difference the new owners are making...LOVE the new specials, the fresh feel of the place, and the new alcohol served for those who enjoy a drink with dinner....just WOW!! Could be a new regular stomping grounds!?

The steak was good and done perfectly. The stuffed chicken breast was a bit dry. The stuffing was very good. The salad bar was great. The raisin bread was a little bit stale. The sangria was very tasty ?

Have been to Bullocks on multiple occasions and enjoyed every one. Great food (the best fried chicken in the area!) and great staff. You definitely get your moneys worth with each meal and the salad bar is totally worth it!Also had a family gathering on the large table side and everyone was very happy with the experience. We’ll be making it an annual trip to Bullocks for that get-together!

Recently under new ownership, Bullock's has retained the name and country atmosphere with a few improvements. The salad bar is back and better than ever with a couple of soups, a few hot dishes, and even desserts like raisin bread, pudding, and jello. Beverages now are self-serve for your convenience. The new menu is online for viewing, and some meals come with your choice of potato and the salad bar. The dinner portions are on the larger size. The restaurant recently acquired a liquor license, so there are additional options for adults. Although our kids initially were disappointed by the absence of the large wooden bear at the interior door and the smaller one on the outside, once seated with the new kids placements and crayons, their attention was otherwise engaged until the food was ready. Highly recommended for families as the lower portion of the restaurant has longer tables to accommodate bigger families or groups.Parking: Plenty of parking.Kid-friendliness: The kids menu has lots of choices. The new placemats and crayons are always a plus for kids waiting for their food.Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level and no stairs with a nice gentle ramp inside easily make this a good choice when deciding where to eat for those in a wheelchair. The tables near the salad bar are booths, but the other section's tables have regular chairs that make maneuvering wheelchairs around and up to the tables easier.
