We went to O’Lardens today for the first time and absolutely will be back. They were packed since there was a local race and bar crawl occurring but we were able to be seated. We had to sit outside in an enclosed are which wasn’t the best since it wS cold and raining but we were happy to still be able to try the restaurant. We started with the crab dip and potato leek soup and they were great! The bangers and mash were amazing though. We shared everything and even left with leftovers. The staff was so kind and we can’t wait to try the fish and chips next time. We saw someone with it and it looked great. We also saw someone eating the bread pudding and it looked fabulous. Can’t wait to come again!

Trash restaurant.. went here after we ran the Celtic Canter 5k. Not to busy at the bar, so we sat down. The stools we sat at where not the direct bar but right next to it, and right next to the hist station where 4 or 5 servers were just standing there. Apparently we were in a non-service no mans land. I had to go to the main bar to flag down the bartender. We got our drinks and they were good, but when it came to ordering food had to flag the guy down again.. ordered.. after 30 mins food came out.. both dishes were ice cold. Soo no servers around we just had to eat cold food finish our drinks and it got busy so we just cashed out left. Great potential. They need to get all servers to focus ok ALL areas of the restaurant and pay attention to the folks spending the money. I say this because eating out is expensive. And we spent $75 bucks for beers and cold food. Sooner or later these places will need to tighten up and take care of its patrons.

I used to visit often and they were always great. I went last fall and ordered my all-time favorite - lamb chops. You guessed it - They no longer have lamb chops on their menu. In a phone call later that day, I was told they cost too much. So, instead of just passing the added cost on to the customer they simply quit selling them????? I'll go back when they realize they should serve what the customer wants not what they can buy cheap. Incidentally, if you do go to O'Lordan's for a beer, the place is still charming.

We came here last night for a date night. The restaurant was really well decorated. We got a seat my the fireplace which was nice. We ordered wings, bangers and mash, and fish and chips with a dark chocolate creme brulee. The wings were really good. The fish and chips was also good. The bangers and mash was pretty good but the sauce on it was bitter and the dark chocolate creme brulee was a little over done so also a little bitter. Overall it was a good experience and we would come back, but it wasn't outstanding.

We went here to celebrate my sister's birthday. I had seen O'Lodan's on instagram and it looked amazing. Don't believe all you see on insta! The service was HORRIBLE and the food even worse. And, we were there at 3 in the afternoon. Save yourself money and time and go to Rock Salt instead.

Had my wedding reception here 2/22/2024 and the server was good. Very nice very polite. But was under staffed for the party. The food was horrible. It was cold. Half the food got dropped and the half that didn't was cold. I sent my food back twice for being cold. I ordered the stew. Told them I didn't want it after the second time I sent it back "it's not worth $17.00" I had given up at this time and took my son downstairs to listen to the music which was great. While I was down there they brought the food back out saying "it's 100 degrees" which tells me they microwaved it. I would like to get in contact with the owner considering they only gave a 20% discount for all the mistakes. My father in law was the one that covered the bill but in all honesty the food and service wasn't worth the $340 bill. I would like to add that the food that wasn't dropped was "under the warmer" but as we all went to the bathroom we saw the food that was served sitting on a table outside of the restroom. Will not return.

We absolutely loved this place. Service was first rate - friendly, efficient. The Ruben was tender and the Rachael used fresh turkey - both were delicious.
