Went there for a birthday and anniversary celebration. Found the food to be a little on the heavy side with cream and cheese for seafood and the breading on fried seafood was a little too greasy. The oyster selection was top notch so maybe a broiled option would have been better. Vegetables were way overcooked.The service was less than stellar. Switched servers mid meal and we got lost in the shuffle and got a server who had too many tables and a trainee. Server was friendly enough but just didn’t have time for us.Great location and good ambiance for a celebration.

This experience was nice. Ive been hearing for years how well the food was. I finally got there for lunch. Since Im a Baltimore girl at heart naturally Ihad to try the crab cakes. They were soooo good, lump back, and they werent filled with filling. The carrots and potato salad(cold)was delicous as well.
Loved it we ordered two dozen of the salt ponds and other one the the steak and everything was delicious the oysters were so good can't wait to go backParking: It's very hard to find a parking spot during lunch hours

We surprised my husband for his birthday with dinner with friends The staff was great about everything! DJ, our server, was amazing as usual. The hostess stored the cake for us and DJ came out with candles on the cake while everyone sang Happy Birthday. The food and drinks were top notch and everyone went above and beyond to take care of us. We will be back soon.
This place is great. Excellent food and friendly service, just ate one of the best lunches I've ever had there and when I'm back in town I'll be back again.

Pretty lousy that your advertised happy hour specials only apply to a small seating area of the restaurant and that isn't specifically spelled out on the website.Showed up to have a quick treat with my wife and for happy hour specials that we never get a chance to actually make it for and ended up having to walk out as the only available seating in the bar was after happy hour and they weren't willing to honor the price at the table we were immediately sat at.Will think again before we consider returning no matter how good the food is.

Question for chef and/or manager - I've eaten crab cakes at Rock Salt Grille for ions with no problems. This time the crab cakes were too spicy and made me sick. I'd thought there was no Old Bay in ur crab cakes. I was told by ur people they've always had Old Bay in them which I find hard to believe. Can the powers that be check into this for me? Otherwise, I think Rock Salt's a great dining experience. Thank u.
