Overall, I think Moby Dick Sushi is a great spot in the downtown Wheaton area to get your sushi fix. Actually, it's now my go-to sushi spot. I've visited this place on a few occasions, and I have not had any issues with my food and service. Moby Dick has a pretty extension menu that includes traditional and "fancy" food items. For the things that I have ordered (typically the general sushi dinners and basic rolls), I thought the prices are in line with other decent sushi spots in the area. The restaurant is a bit small with about 5-7 tables, so it probably will not work out well if you plan on dining there with 5+ people in your party. Also, the restaurant seems to be geared toward pickup and delivery orders. For instance, I do not think the restaurant has a restroom for customers. If you decide the dine-in, be aware that you will have people constantly walking past you to make or pick up their orders at the front counter.

This has been our go to sushi place for years. It's a little pricey but DoorDash will deliver to us up in Olney so it's worth it! We usually get miso soup, a mix of rolls and Nigiri. We always enjoy it. We have tried many other sushi places but always come back to this one. Our orders don't normally include soy sauce or chopsticks so make sure you have some at home!

This is the sushi spot here in the Silver Spring/Wheaton area. The food is great, and the service has always been top-notch as well. Be sure to try the crunchy spicey tuna roll!
This is the only sushi place I order from now! Been going here for over a year now and it has never disappointed. Luckily, their indoor dining has opened again as well. Their takeout is always fresh and the quality of their sushi is perfect. Best of all, the staff are always very friendly and welcoming. I can't recommend this place enough!

This is easily the best sushi i have had in ages. As a vegan i often struggle to find sushi that isn’t just an avocado roll or more than two items on the menu that i can eat. This place is packed with flavor and the service is also respectable and kind. The non vegan sushi was also soooo delicious. The one thing i think everyone should try is the crunchy spicy veggie roll. It was soo good i had to come back the next day to eat again. One of the best things i have ever eaten!!! I’m still thinking about it and about to order it after i leave this review. We started to dig in therefore the picture is somewhat eaten since we couldn’t stop ourselves as soon as we got the food on the table. Truly amazing !!Vegetarian options: The vegetarian options were amazing! There were also multiple vegan options. The crunchy spicy vegan option is one of the best things i have ever eaten! Never really a Sushi fan until my boss turned me on to this gem of a place. California rolls are awesome. So fresh! I’m not a raw fish eater, so I’d like to think the chef created the tempura salmon sushi rolls just for me. My absolute favorite thing to order.The service is awesome. So friendly.
