Been here dozens of times over the years. And the rumors are true. Easily the best pollo a la brasa place in the area. Chicken and sauces are reliably excellent and very reasonably priced. Feeding a family of four with room to spare for $22 is something you can't even do at McDonalds these days. Sides are limited in variety, but they're ok. Only gripe is the fried yuca is often chewy, hard, and/or dry. But skip that menu item, and you'll be fine.

My go to spot every time I'm visiting Silver Spring. I used to live here 20 years ago and have been to their other spot across University until it got burn down one day. The food is just as I remember the smell is unique right up your nose when you walk in. The service is quick and direct to point. It has this homie feel where family can gets together pulling a couple tables and just feast. I love this place and I highly recommended to anyone who lives in the area.

My first time here was interesting. Parking is on the back side, but the restaurant faces the front. Their chicken is unmatched. Tasted good the first and second day I ate it. The service was quick and to the point. I felt a bit rushed when making my decision. The place to eat didn't seem like much was put into it, just a few tables and chairs to eat in if you would like. I got the half chicken with red beans and rice with a side of plantain. I love the season of the chicken and the redheads and rice filled me up really good. Overall, I liked this establishment. I would return.
You'll get good service if you're white Latin American. They are openly hostile to brown and black people and will often say slurs and other nastiness in Spanish. Well, they met a brown person who understood Spanish, and she cussed them tf out! Lol The very short (bald?) and pale one hurling insults walked off the others who laughed at what he said suddenly wanted to apologize. When she called them out, I left right along with her. Of course, the Latin patrons did not care and did nothing to check them.There are other and better Latin(Peruvian in this case) restaurants to go to who service EVERYONE and with respect. Spend your money where it is appreciated.

I placed an order over the phone, presented my address. it was confirmed for delivery range to take my credit card information.Seven minutes later, get a callback requesting additional delivery fee for .2 over 4 mile range.I declined to pay the fee because that should’ve been presented after you looked up my address, right? $10! For .2 miles.They did apologize for the mistake. Very professional.
