Quite the mean guy working here when we visited (and not only to our party he was rude as well to a man behind us). Also nickel and dime you for everything, surprise they don’t charge for the air you take up while at the cafe.

I had the pleasure of being serviced by Beemnet. She was so nice and welcoming. I asked for a drink from her arsenal and she surprised me with a fantastic coffee beverage. Highly recommend visiting ?

I love that this cafe is in the library! It's so nice and full of life in this intimate space. The staff is amazing & will take the time out to converse with you. The menu has so many wonderful items to choose from. My iced chai was spiced very well and the cheese danish was thick and tasted delicious. A must try where you can get a book, play at the gym and then stop by the cafe.

COFFEE DONE RIGHT! The beverages here are fantastic! The oat milk Chai latte slapped! The mocha wasn't sugary, it was a brilliant balance of dark chocolate and fine Ethiopian coffee. The pastries are delishious and pair perfect with the not-too-sweet specialty beverages. What really sets this place apart is the owner's commitment and service to the community. Upon ordering, the fascinating proprietor--whose been in business since 1996--told me about her work with the Shepherd's Table. You won't be disappointed!

Superb coffee shop with pastries and snacks inside the Wheaton Public Library complex. Funny and kind staff. And will serve in a ceramic mug if you have it to stay.

I've been a regular at Kefa for a few years now and the service is always spectacular. Kefa is a great family owned business. I highly recommend it to all coffee lovers in the Silver Spring-Wheaton area. The coffee is authentic for sure, but nothing beats the owner's dedication to superb service!! Check it out if you ever want to branch out from Starbucks or Peet's Coffee.

Best coffee place! They are always friendly and their pour over coffee is amazing, single origin and delicious. They are so nice that one time I dropped my coffee, went to order another, and they gave it to me for free. The food is straightforward and delicious. I will always go here for fresh beans, friendly vibe, and great coffee!

Great coffee, great staff. Stopped by after a long day at DC museums needing some caffeine for the drive home. So glad we picked this place rather than settling for a Starbucks or mini market. Had an Ethiopian pour over and it was remarkable. The drink came with a nice barista conversation about the history of the cafe, it’s decorations and the community of which it is a part. Bonus: the cafe is in the town public library/community center. Lively and lovely place.

One of the best coffees I ever had. The owner is friendly and the bakery is delicious. Recommend to try.

I am so happy that I found this place! Their chai lattes are the best ! The Ethiopian coffee is also good ! The must have pastry is the square pasty with the apple ? slices . The lady assisting us , I believe her name was Lene, was very nice and even gave us a sample of the golden latte drink that I mentioned sounded delicious.
