I like going here especially when the weather is warm out! Outdoor deck and seating right near the androscoggin River. Sometimes they have live music going and it be live! Always great time there!

The service was great and the atmosphere and vibe was comfortable. I ordered a sandwich and fries and they were both good. My only complaint and it's a big one is the beer tap is closer to warm than cold. Not sure how this can be overlooked in a spot that brews their own beer. After my first Gritty beer I had to order a bud light in a bottle just so I could get a cold beer. If the beer was cold it would have 5 stars.

Asked for nachos and got a small plate of corn chips with cheese. Not worth the $10 I was charged. Karaoke was an absolute disaster. DJ was always on smoke break then played favorites with her friends.Edit 11/1/23: New DJ. Much better night.Edit 1/3/23: Customer service is hit or miss. If they're busy you can guarantee the night's going to be a disaster. A couple of the waitresses are pretty good for the most part.
I was here with a work group and couldn't eat any of the food that was served buffet style for the group due to allergies, but the manager made me a comparable entree to eat without the allergen. I thought that was very nice of the manager especially seeing as how it wasn't the manager's fault that my work only ordered food I couldn't eat.

I purchased a gift card to be mailed to me to Maryland so I could give it to someone for Christmas. It never came. I called and the manager said she’d cancel that one and mail it directly to the recipient. Still not delivered. I called again. Got transferred a lot twice to voicemails that were full. So I’m out $80 and no gift for my friends.

Just okay. It was kind of a quiet Saturday night, and the place was a little empty. The food was good but just pub grub. They were out of corn bread of all things when I ordered my chili. It's not a big deal, but corn bread takes 15 minutes to make folks. There were three servers. Everyone was nice but not very attentive.Parking: You have to walk a couple blocks, but that's only the nature of downtown

Ambience: I got the sense that my queer ass was going to end up in the river if I stayed too long. I heard "Try That in a Small Town" while I was there. Service was lovely. The burger was not very good. I enjoyed the side salad far more than the burger I came for. Their beers were pretty tasty. That's not enough to make me want to go back, though. There's too much wrong to want to try again, especially that "I'm going to get murdered here" feeling. That really kills my enjoyment of a place.
