Sushi and service were always fabulous, until I went to hibachi on a Saturday night. Service was very slow, hibachi was meh. Definitely fun for a drinking friend group, but not what we were into.

Food was good. Atmosphere was lovely. The staff were very polite and prompt. It was great. It was just a bit weird because it was pretty quiet and if I looked up, the waitress ran over to my table.

I once had a craving for sushi and while most of the sushi in the area was great, it didn't quite hit the spot. My partner suggested we try somewhere new and we ended up at Kume!I can't say enough at how soft and fresh their fish options were!!Each of the pieces of sushi I tried was the best I've had in years! We have been back several times to try their Hibatchi and the chefs are always entertaining and kind! After half a dozen visits back, we still have no complaints!Hands down the best sushi I have had in the Waterville/Augusta area!

Food was good but service was terrible. We had a party of 4 and all our food was brought out separately. Also the multiple waitresses that served us were all rude and very rushing even though they were still open for another 2 hours.

First time coming here the food was okay I wish it was colder not room temperature I had sushi I first got there waitress must have came to my table 15 times in 5 minutes ask me if I was ready to order yet I told them that this was my first time there I needed a few minutes but they don't speak English very well so apparently they're not understanding what I said either back to the food definitely should have been colder if I wanted my sushi cooked it wouldn't be sushi it was room temperature at best that part was not enjoyable deep fried ice cream for dessert wasn't cooked long enough the shell wasn't crunchy

I have eaten here several times and love the hibachi, but unfortunately the last few.times I've been there it's been a disappointment. The first incident there was a communication error with our party and the tip that was supposed to be left wasn't, but before we could fix it the lady grabbed my daughter by the arm and wouldn't let her leave until she gave a better tip. Which by the was is assult. My daughter was embarrassed. The last incident happened today. We ordered take out and literally got raw chicken. Have picture to prove it. Went back and they fixed it, however we left again only to realize the noodles and rice and chicken lack flavoring and sauce. Went back to fix it and was refused any kind of compensation. Wouldn't refund, wouldn't fix the food. The lady was extremely rude.

We had to argue that my granddaughter wanted the rice and a side of noodles, which they never gave us. They never refilled our drinks. Then, when the tip was smaller than they felt, they deserved they came over to my daughter and bullied her to give a 20% tip for 4 unsatisfied customers.

Went out to dinner with a few work friends and all had such a wonderful time. The chef was great. He was engaged and really had fun while making the good on the hibachi grill. Was so fun to watch. He even made sure to cook all the food before adding the shell fish to the grill as one of my friends has a shell fish allergy. The food was great. The drinks were great. Highly recommended.Parking: Free parking lot with plenty of spaces just outside the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Door is on ground level. Easily accessible

Kume has a wonderful variety of food. Very fast service if you are not doing hibatchi. The hibatchi is great fun for the family, even if you have small children. I would recommend getting a couple suchi rolls yumm.Kid-friendliness: My kids love going here they have a big fish tank. It only has a few fish but they are a couple cool ones!

if i could give zero stars i would. when i asked questions about the menu the waitress rolled her eyes at me. my friend who i was with told the waitress that she had a shrimp allergy and the waitress rolled her eyes AGAIN and proceeded to ignore her allergy. my friend ended up having an allergic reaction. then when left we were blocked from the door because apparently we didn't tip enough despite the 15% tip we left even tho our experience was horrible. don't go here.

Went for Galentines and had Hibachi Lunch. They were quick to seat us and take our order. I ordered the Shrimp hibachi lunch and my friend got teriyaki chicken and rice. They brought the soup and salad together. The soup was good but it was cold. The salad was fresh and good When I got my shrimp the food had a weird smell. I tried it and it also tasted bad. I decided to send it back and I was apologetic when they came back they informed me they were charging me half price because I ate the salad and had one taste of the soup. Then no one spoke to me while my friend ate. There are allot of restaurants for me to go to. Probably this one is out of my rotation for good.
