My recent experiences at Blaze left much to be desired. While the ambiance may have aimed for sophistication, the reality fell short. The prices were exorbitant, far outweighing the value of the offerings. It felt as though the establishment was attempting to cultivate an air of pretentiousness without the substance to back it up.The quality of the food at Blaze was disappointing, considering the hefty price tag attached. It failed to deliver on flavor and innovation, leaving me underwhelmed and dissatisfied. In comparison to other eateries, even those tucked away in hidden corners, Blaze paled in comparison. My wallet took a hit as I forked over nearly $100 for a pizza, two drinks, and a plate of poutine. To add insult to injury, the drinks were lackluster, with a noticeable absence of the promised potency. It's baffling that such steep prices would yield such mediocre results. The use of duck fat for frying may have been touted as a unique selling point, but it did little to elevate the overall dining experience. Ultimately, the novelty fell flat when the food failed to impress. To compound matters, our waitress was incredibly unpleasant, rushing my girlfriend and me through our meal and effectively ruining what was meant to be a special date night. Her brusque demeanor and lack of attentiveness only served to exacerbate our dissatisfaction with the overall experience. As someone with a speech impairment, her impatience was particularly distressing, as she hurried me along while I struggled to articulate my words. In fairness, I visited Blaze on two occasions, hoping that the first experience was just an anomaly. However, both visits left me with a similar feeling of disappointment, suggesting that perhaps the issues are systemic rather than isolated incidents. In summary, Blaze proved to be a disappointment on multiple fronts. With its overpriced menu, lackluster drinks, underwhelming food quality, and poor service, it failed to justify its place in the culinary landscape. Save your money and seek out more satisfying dining options elsewhere.

I want to start with that our waiter was amazing. But that being said that was the only amazing thing about our experience. The food took forever. Two burgers and fish and chips.... the burgers were over cooked along with the eggs on top of them. Basic elements were missing. The "cod" fish and chips were flavorless along with the "slaw". And the one thing that brought people to blaze in the first place..... the duck fat fries where a shadow of what they once were. I don't know what they are doing or how they are still in business putting out product like that..... but is certainly was disappointing....I'm okay paying 20.00 + for a burger.... but honestly.... McDonalds would have definitely done better.

I was disappointed because it's a restaurant that can provide a nice atmosphere, but we were seated at a table crammed in the corner next to the entry to both! the kitchen and bathrooms. It was really bright because of the overhead lighting plus the wall behind us and the lights when the bathroom door was open. Not calming or romantic to be low level blinded and beside all the kitchen and bathroom traffic. They need to straight up get rid of that table. I kinda feel like because we were an early reservation (5:30 only because they didn't have any later) we got this table.I might eat early, but I will stay and spend plenty of money on drinks if you don't seat us in the blistering gulag.

Amazing pizza. Staff was awesome. Little on the pricy side for Bangor, but food quality was top shelf.

Love the food. Usually pretty good though some of the food can be a little under seasoned/bland. Had really bad experiences with service before.

I recently dined at Blaze and had a mixed experience. While the food was enjoyable and the location was convenient, the service left much to be desired. My French toast was tasty and the restaurant was clean and up to par in that aspect, but unfortunately, the experience was marred by lapses in service. I ordered a juice that never made it to our table, and throughout the meal, there was a noticeable lack of attention from the staff. They didn't check on us, making the dining experience feel somewhat neglected. Despite the delicious food, the service lapses affected the overall enjoyment of the meal. Hopefully, the restaurant can address these issues to provide a more consistent and satisfying experience for diners.

Very nice inside though I couldn't tell you about the food because I wasn't allowed to order a lemon water so I left

We had the smash burger, clearly wasn't a smash burger! My other half had the blaze burger and it was horride. There smoked flavor taste old, bun was soggy, might as well call it the fork burger cus it's the only way you could eat it! We had the fried Brussels and ewwww, burnt and over crispy. There soda taste like it has tap water in it, but most of all this places duck fries sucked. No flavor in them at all!
