Such authentic, delicious food at Las Palapas. It's easily one of my favorite places to eat in Bangor (there's also a location in Brewer). The service is always so fast, the food is super fresh and always hot out of the kitchen and the servers are very friendly. My go-to order is a steak quesadilla with real Mexican queso, refried beans and their house seasoned rice. I don't drink often but I've been told their margaritas are delicious and huge!
Great! The staff works in perfect coordination to make sure you don't wait for anything and omg the food is so satisfying and tantalizes the taste buds. The jumbo margaritas hit the spot and just the thing to let go of stress. This is the place to go to turn your day around! And the price!!! Fresh food, great service at half the cost of that junk fast food, HALF! Lifetime customer here.

Our wait staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially considering we came with 4 small kids. The food was great and they offered plenty of ways to customize. They were also very considerate for the small kids with us.

Great Mexican food. I didn't think Maine would have any good Mexican food but this is the spot for sure. Only disappointment was the chicken enchiladas. I'm not a fan of all the onion and peppers inside. If I get chickens enchiladas it should have only chicken in it. Will definitely eat here again!
Service was outstanding! Our waitress was wonderful!Margaritas had little alcohol, majority was mix. My chicken fajita nachos were just a plate of mush and the chicken tasted burnt.Maybe it’s just what I ordered but I didn’t enjoy it here.The salsa and chips were good.

It is my favorite Mexican restaurant. Even when it is busy you don't wait long at all. For two of us each with a drink from the bar with dinner it was around 50 bucks (before tip). Good solid food.

Horrible service! Horrible seats! Horrible food. I would have given No STARS, but in order to post you have to give something. Our waiter took our order from the other side of the wall. When the waiter brought out our food he slung it on the table and ran off. We are from the South and we are big on hospitality and we were showed NONE. I WOULD NOT recommend this place to my worse enemy. NEVER AGAIN! NOT EVEN 1 STAR WORTHY!

Normally I have nothing but good things to say about Las Palapas. However, my food from Saturday 3/2/24 was pretty bad, ticket #248. The proteins were overcooked/burnt and the meals were both incorrect and inconsistent. I was hoping to try and resolve my issue with management, but my email was ignored.
