This is very far from authentic food, and I wouldn't even go as far as to say that this could begin to be stated as true "tex-mex". The food quality is subpar and similar quality to what you'd expect to get if you ordered tacos, burritos, or nachos from an American restaurant or pub. There are many restaurants in the area that offer better quality options. The service here is great and their drinks are decent quality. However, if you're looking for authentic Mexican food, visit Las Palapas.

The 'salsa' taste like marinara sauce. Rest of the food was just ok as it was lacking spices and got to us like warm. The service was slow and it wasn't even busy.

Service was extremely slow. Other diners were served before we were. We waited an hour and half before getting our food. The food was not very good as it was just thrown together. More lettuce and tomatoes than expected.Very disappointed.

No longer open on Sundays or Mondays. I do not drink alcohol and they have a great assortment of "mocktails." According to my husband their Margheritas are the best. Food is good, too.

Light on gluten-free and dairy-free options, but what they have was very good. Nice staff and overlooks some of Bangor.
I realize I’m in Maine… but this is NOT Mexican food. It was unseasoned hamburger and soggy flour tortilla for the carne burrito. Stuffed poblanos was actually frozen jalapeño poppers. The beans look like bean pure’. The 80/90s rock blaring should have been the give away. The staff was cool. But the food NO THANK

I really hate to leave a 1 star. The people are very friendly. But the title of the restaurant is misleading. I came in speaking Spanish and nobody knew Spanish and they didn’t have any clue what basic authentic Mexican dishes were. The food is TERRIBLE. Not authentic Mexican food at all. On a good note the building is well decorated and clean. The staff are very friendly and nice.

I really want to like this place. The staff is very friendly, the service was really good, and the atmosphere is great, however, the food is just ok.I appreciate the free chips and salsa but I'm nearly positive the salsa is from a jar. It tasted like Pace Picante. The chips were good though.I was hoping to order some steak tacos (street style with onions, cilantro, corn tortilla) but I did not see them on the menu. This is a pretty standard item for Authentic Mexican restaurants. The restaurant definitely leans more American than Mexican so I ordered the fish tacos. This was a safe bet. The fish tacos were good!

Meh. If you’re craving Mexican in Bangor you’re better suited to cook at home. Nothing authentic in the area.
