Very decent digs. Comfortable and clean, that’s the most important things. Outdated, but I get that. However, the prices at the bar are way way overpriced. And in the morning, $5 for coffee from a cranky guy. Ugh. But, front desk people were great.

Moving between Orono and Bar Harbor this hotel was the perfect spot. Rooms were clean, tidy and warm! Staff were super helpful, extremely pleasant, making the stay a good one. Gym wasn't too bad. Could have been bigger but suited my needs with the treadmill, towels and water.

This is a really good hotel. I wish all Courtyard hotels were the exact same. Awesome check-in. The two people that day were really friendly and helpful. Hotel was quiet, clean, and up to date. Room was spacious, cozy, and nicely appointed. You can tell this hotel is very well managed. I wish Marriott had the same expectations for all Courtyards.

My wife lost one of her Christmas earrings. We searched the room for more than an hour and finally, reluctantly gave up. We let Gina, the front desk clerk, know. A while later, we got an email from Gina letting us know that the housekeeper and manager searched the room top to bottom for the earring. We really appreciate the care and concern from Gina and her colleagues. Everything else about our stay was also top notch, from check in through check out. Since I was crawling around on my hands and knees, including under the bed, I can also state most assuredly that this hotel room is extraordinarily clean! I 100% recommend this hotel and, more importantly, its staff. My wife and I are very grateful for this experience.

This Courtyard is quite clean and modern, and a quiet location but easy access to downtown. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Typical Courtyard breakfast - as an Elite member I don't like not having a free breakfast, and the Starbucks coffee is pricey. But I knew that going in so am more than willing to take that with all of the good. Definitely would return when back in Bangor.

This is an excellent place to stay and one of the best! It starts with the outstanding staff - front desk, Bistro, and housekeeping. The Bistro service is excellent - good food too. Depending on your level of Marriott reward membership, you may get some of your food for free. The hotel is up to date and is clean throughout. I observed the staff cleaning regularly. The landscaping is really great too. It is away from busy roads so it is quieter as well. This is my first choice for where to stay if in the Bangor area.

Good Food at the hotel

Recently stayed at this hotel for one night (Sunday, May 22nd). Facilities were clean, welcoming and very nice. Room were clean, spacious and comfortable.. Service was very disapointing. The lady behind the counter wasnt welcoming at all, seemed grumpy and looked like she hated her job. First thing we asked was for a room with a King bed, she acknowledged our request, said she would look to get us a king. Our room had already been paid prior to arrival, she did however still asked us for our credit card, after a couple minutes, I asked her the reason why she needed the card, she told us it was for the incidentials (out of courtesy, this should have been automatic). Check-in process was done after a few minutes, we left, looking for the elevators, we had no idea where we were going, so I turned around and asked her where the elevators were, which she answered. Out of courtesy, she should have told us where they were. Getting to our room, there were two beds instead of the king that we had specifically resquested. We were happy with the two beds (beds were comfy) but out of courtesy, the employee should have told us that there were no king size beds available. To us, by not telling us we had the two beds instead, it seemed like she just ignored our request. We are big travellers, service to us is everything. In my opinion, a better job could have been done. Courtesy is everything. I still recommend this hotel as I truly don’t believe this enployees poor service was a reflection of the entire hotel’s reputation.

Nothing better than going downstairs a hotel at 5am for a cup of fresh coffee

Hotel was clean but our bed was broken and the hotel wasn’t very quiet. I informed the front desk in the morning and she joked about it. Too bad…seemed like a place that we would have been nice to visit regularly. Mask were mandatory but the bistro employees weren’t wearing any????

Overall we had a pleasant stay. We stayed here before heading to Acadia. The staff were friendly and the room was clean. It was located on a dead end road and was near shopping and food. If we were passing through here again, we would likely stay here.

Very clean Courtyard but a bit inconvenient. A $30 surge priced Uber ride from downtown on Penobscot river just a few miles away. If you have a car or travels in immediate area I would recommend. Staff was cheerful and breakfast sandwiches are great!

Clean comfortable hotel. Easy check-in and checkout. Mini fridge in room Access from highway is a bit quirky. No breakfast access at hotel or nearby. Claims to have a Starbucks but not an active spot - wouldn't rely on it. It is an hour drive from bar Harbor, for some folks it may be worthwhile to pay extra 75% to stay in Bar Harbor

This is just standard Courtyard, bland and boring. Not a great location, pretty far from everything, well, except Bangor airport. The room was quite expensive and too small for my daughters and me...3 nights in the small room, not much fun. Also, not offering an upgrade to a suite, even using my Platinum Suite awards, or just a larger room. Bonvoy status means more in higher end properties, not @Courtyard, I guess. Pretty limited amenities, no bar, just basic breakfast items, and bad coffee. Service was adequate, except one thing: curiously, they don't provide complimentary bottled water in the room, even for Platinum Members. Well, I never pay for water or Wi-Fi, at least at Marriott properties, so it was a problem. They gave me some water bottles at the end, but behaved that they are doing me a big favor! Anyway, puzzled by mostly positive reviews. To be objective, Courtyard is just a weak brand, so I cannot blame hotel only for their shortcomings. Next time would prefer to stay in Bar Harbor or Camden areas....

Check in was super fast & done with a true friendly vibe. Lobby has a Starbucks & overall presented a classy appearance. WiFi was blazing fast. Furniture in the rooms was nice / bed was comfy. Good channel selection on the TV. Coffee maker in room as well as small fridge. Room faced the freeway but there was little noise detectable in the room. Would stay here again no problem at all.
