Outdoor seating and it was a little chilly but we enjoyed the food and the weather. Super friendly and nice folks. Small place. Don't expect fancy. But expect GOOD because it is.

Believe the hype! Best lobster roll I've ever had! Really good chowder. Great beer selection. Everything was fantastic and the lady at the order window is super nice. Love that you can enjoy inside a heated hut or in the sunny picnic area. This is a great choice on the way IN or OUT of Bar Harbor. Check to make sure of dates and times when they are open! I think they close for the season 10/10.

Fresh and delicious baked lobster and clams. Only about 15 min wait, and hot steamy delicious seafoods at your table. Finish off with a whoopie pie.

The man at the window promised the best steamers of my life and he did not disappoint! My mom and I ordered the lobster bake special for 2, we subbed steamers for mussels! The steamers were insane, the lobsters were sweet and delicious. The staff was great and the environment was convivial and warm. We will be returning and highly recommending!

It was our last night camping at Bar Harbor KOA and it was raining so we were looking for a Lobster Shack to get takeout. After reading reviews we went to C-Ray Lobster. What a great choice! The lobster, muscles and corn on the cob were EXCELLENT! The blueberry pie for desert was delicious! Would highly recommend!

Least expensive for a good meal. Choices of combo meals or ala cart. Quick service. Most tables are outside. You'll love the scenery while enjoying your food.

As rustic as you can get, including the outhouse, but solid lobster and outstanding chowdah, with mostly outdoor seating but a nice heated tent. One gets the feeling they are taking advantage of tourists, based on the prices, but that seems to be the Bar Harbor thing. Nice, but not returning. We ain’t off a cruise ship ya heah.

Oh my goodness! You need to try this place! We got the special with 2 lobsters, 16 mussels, and 2 ears of corn. They brought it to us in their warm outdoor covered area in about 10 minutes. Great deal—only $48 for two people. Amazing food! Wish we could visit again.

Hands down the best lobster roll and lobster bake! The mussels in the lobster bake were excellent. Also the best clam chowder. We will definitely come back here.

Everything was great except the lobster was mediocre. It seemed really watery and the innards were very runny - the first time I ever experienced this. It grossed me out and I had a hard time finishing it. They didn't crack it like thurstons does so it was a bit harder to eat. Pie was great.
