“This place is amazing! Such a gem. We did it as takeout since it was January and my partner picked our food up so I can't speak to the dine-in experience / ambiance, but in terms of the quality of the food and the price it was awesome. Honestly, did NOT expect to get such an awesome burrito in Maine. I hope they stay open for many years to come because we will definitely back many times. We (coincidentally) are staying about a block away from Salsa Verde Grill for a week this summer and I think it might be a daily burrito stop!!!“
“We did the tasting menu and felt this was a great way to try most of the menu. This was a satisfying amount of food. We loved the homemade pastas, particularly the cacio e Pepe. The duck confit and the pork tenderloin ramen were fantastic and the flavors all worked very well together. Really excellent service from the entire staff!“
“You're going here for cocktails. Do they serve beer? Yes... But that's like ordering grilled cheese at a seafood place (nothing wrong with the beer selection though). Understand this, the place is busier than it looks and making great cocktails is an art. This isn't a beer slinging joint where a order is compete in 60 seconds. Be patient. You're likely on vacation anyway. If you want to see a professional mixologist/bartender/artist, go to the Cottage Street Pub. See Cassidy (dark hair, teal highlights). Enjoy her professionalism and appropriate amount of sass. Cassidy mixed up FANTASTIC cocktails for us Monday through Thursday (July 17-20,-2023) (yeah, you read that correctly, we went four nights in a row). Not only did she mix the cocktails, but she mixed up great tunes the entire time as well. Read all that again, don't waste your time on beer here, get the cocktails. Learn the bartender's name, it helps to grab their attention when they are herding 100 cats. Hope you get Cassidy as your professional bartender! I'm sure the others are great, too.“
“Absolutely delicious meal! We made a reservation for our Anniversary dinner while we were on our trip to Acadia. I loved the dark, elegant atmosphere of the place. Compared to much of the other restaurants in the area, it didn’t feel crowded at all. Our server was super helpful, but also gave us lots of space to enjoy our meal. The food was all absolutely delicious. The beef yakitori was so flavorful! The chicory salad was good, but the bacon dressing was a bit overwhelmingly sweet for me, still tasted good, just not my personal preference. The sage dumplings with rabbit confit was amazing, the rabbit was so tender. The scallops were cooked to perfection and my husband loved the trout. Although I think for both of us our favorite part of the meal was the bread. It was so puffy and sprinkled with salt and herbs on top. My dinner could have been made up of just that bread and I would have been happy. I highly recommend dinning here while in Bar Harbor!“
“Farm to table style restaurant supporting Bar Harbor local farms. Cooking with wood fire stove, adding to flavor and ambience. The seafood & pork gumbo delicious with a slight bite! Porchetta Lasagna unique and delicious and enough to feed two in my opinion. Topped off with the blueberry shrub sour, a non alcoholic dessert beverage but the chocolate mousse was tempting…. Excellent service and warm atmosphere. We will be back!“
“This small restaurant is located behind the Claremont hotel, right on the water! Great view with a patio as well! You could definitely tell how fresh all the ingredients were! So good and tasty! The Mediterranean plate was listed as a main course, which it shouldn't be. It's more of an app. And also, I wish my salad would have been bigger. Our server was so cheery and friendly!“
“What an enjoyable experience. Nice fire to sit by and beautiful flower gardens. Exceptional food, atmosphere, and service. We had the Harvest Pizza, covered in fresh vegetables which was one of the best pizzas. This is recommended to us by our friends and the TripAdvisor rated high as well. The food is great, the staff friendly and the setting very relaxed. We will be back.“
