Great food, ambience and service as noted in the other reviews. Tip: The enchiladas that I ordered with both green and red salsa was too spicy - like over the top spicy and I could barely eat it unfortunately. Please ask the waiter about spice level. My wife had the tacos which were fine. We eat Indian food regularly and are used to spicy but the green salsa here was too hot. I wish the waiter had told us.Vegetarian options: Calabacita (zucchini and squash) tacos and enchiladas

Sold us 4 bite sized churros at up charge of 11 dollars. Told us they usually serve chocolate sauce but they burnt it. So didn’t bother remaking. Thanks for that excuse, or blatant honesty. Don’t know which would be worse. They made us wait when there was four ppl in restaurant. Waitress had the same charisma level as squidward. They seem to like one type of squash and pepper for all of their variety vegetarian meals. Refried Beans were nice and food seemed fresh. Ran out of their elote at our early dinner around 5. Chips and salsa were nice complimentary. Medium level salsa is spicier than average so be mindful.I’m sure their drinks and elote may have been good. They really need to work on service.

The service was so slow, they took half an hour just to give us a menu even though there were only 4-5 people at the restaurant. We got medium spice level salsa and it was soo spicy, highly suggest mild level spice. The tacos and enchiladas were okay, the beans were really good. We got churros for dessert as our food was so spicy and they said they burned the chocolate sauce so instead of remaking it, we didn’t get any sauce and were charged the full price. Poor customer service.

Highly recommend the sopaipilla. Its base is a delicious, fluffy, crispy bread, unlike anything I've ever had.Pre-meal chips were warm and crunchy, and the salsa came in little jalepeño-shaped dishes. Medium salsa has a solid kick.

My partner and I went hiking at Acadia with a friend and we wanted to get food after our trek. I recently had a bad experience at a Mexican restaurant and this place looked good and was close by. The decorations are so beautiful and vibrant inside! There was nobody else there when we got in so the service was exceptionally fast. I personally prefer a more limited menu such as the one they offer here. We ordered chips and salsa and elote for appetizers. The chips were fresh and delicious, the salsa was creamy and had the perfect heat (we got medium). I got enchildas with green sauce and the others got burritos. The rice was seasoned well and the chicken was moist. The burritos disappeared in less than 5 minutes and the enchildas were filling enough for leftovers. Great place to check out if you're in the area!Parking: You will need to park on the street if you go here.

I haven't tried all the Mexican cuisine in New England, but I'd bet $1,000,000 that this is the best! Fantastic Elote, Tostada and MICHELADAS!Vegetarian options: Beans are fantastic. No meat even necessary. Special Calabacitas veggie blend to make the dishes more filled out.

Salsa Verde is a lush stream in a culinary desert - serving refreshing and delicious food. I live locally and I usually skip the local/mostly seasonal eateries. The experience I had at this small restaurant has me eager to return to try more! I highly recommend their grilled chicken - the flavors are vibrant and the meat is a nice change from your typical dry-shredded chix. Their soft corn tortillas are lovingly prepared. I could drink the house made salsa. Basically - don’t settle for sad food when you can eat here and leave truly satisfied!

Sweet staff members and incredible food. Chips and salsa are always good but theirs are amazing. Get the chicken burrito and you will be so impressed by the flavors.

This place is amazing! Such a gem. We did it as takeout since it was January and my partner picked our food up so I can't speak to the dine-in experience / ambiance, but in terms of the quality of the food and the price it was awesome. Honestly, did NOT expect to get such an awesome burrito in Maine. I hope they stay open for many years to come because we will definitely back many times. We (coincidentally) are staying about a block away from Salsa Verde Grill for a week this summer and I think it might be a daily burrito stop!!!

My husband and I had dinner and drinks here on Valentine's Day and absolutely loved it. The best gauc, chips, tacos and margaritas! It's a super cute restaurant, too! We will come back whenever we return to the area.
