We had a wonderful dinner last night at Satori. I regret not trying this place before. Being off season, it was easy to walk in with no wait time. Every single dish we ordered was perfect! The drinks were great. I had ordered one of their vodka based cocktail special, which was just perfect. We ended with their Japanese cheesecake that came with a blackberry sauce and whipped cream - absolutely delicious . Great service and ambience. Definitely, coming back

My favorite restaurant in Belfast!!! Service is best of the best! Wind, Jocelyn, Rob, Brandon, Lori, Bella, Angie and Will are all so so so so amazing. Top tier staff! Nothing beats Wind’s drinks! The Pom Poko is my go to!!! A must visit if you’re in Belfast.

Sashimi is raw fish without rice or additives, and they do that well. The nigiri is okay, being simply meat atop rice--predominant meat flavor. Maki (we had the California and spicy tuna) were very disappointing. The main complaint is that none of the sushi had sushi rice in it. Rice vinegar is required for sushi rice, and this was plain rice. Less umami leading to bland flavor. Our pork belly was overcooked and dry. For drinks, we had boba smoothies, which were great--despite being $9. It was $62 overall for 2 people, so quite expensive despite the mediocre food. And we arrived right when they opened at noon.

Best meal we have had since moving to Maine. Drinks, food and the service were all phenomenal. Only thing I would say is play better music (like jazz rather than obscure 90s pop/rock) but really that’s a personal preference. Can’t wait to go back!!

We had a reservation and had to wait fifteen minutes. Normally it wouldn't be a big deal at all but the hostess was rude and had a weird way of making it seem like it was our fault? Which was interesting. Not sure if they were just having a bad night but they did not seem apologetic or to care at all. Food was good and place was cozy but not for how expensive it was.

The midcoast is lucky to have such an excellent sushi restaurant in the heart of Belfast. This place is consistently good and they are always striving to add new specials and exciting options on an already really nice well thought out menu of delicious Japanese food. The Master Bartender is creative in his approach and his drinks are a culinary treat of all their own. The Hostess is a magician of sorts who can make your sushi dreams come true if you tell her exactly what you want and give a polite amount of notice to. I personally hosted my baby shower there and 9 months later people are still telling me that is was the best baby shower they had ever been to. Go to Satori now, there is something for everyone. Bento boxes to Raman to Sushi to epic salads. Not to mention the Japanese Cheesecake is to die for! Go now! Life is short!

Good food, good drinks, good service, and an oddly shaped building. What more could you ask for?

We had a wonderful dining experience at Satori last night. The fish was fresh and delicious; the menu had smart, creative combinations, appealing to a range of palates (the special sushi dish was incredible); the service was prompt and super friendly; and the ambiance was perfect. I particularly appreciated the thoughtful table spacing. The restaurant could have easily crammed in additional tables to accommodate more diners - the food is certainly that good. Instead, my family of four was able to eat comfortably and carry on conversation without raising our voices. We left full and relaxed. We will definitely go back. I highly recommend.

It has been a very long time since I have been moved to post a review on Yelp. I would like to give a shout out to the friendly and welcoming team at Satori. My spouse and I spied Satori on a visit to Belfast last year, and finally had a chance to make the trip there for dinner. What a splendid sushi feast we enjoyed! Having failed to make reservations (it was early on a Sunday evening) we had the privilege of snagging the last seats in the house - at the sushi bar! We started with scrumptious salmon and tuna nigiri and then ordered an assortment of rolls, of which our favorite was the crunchy spicy tuna. We very much look forward to returning.

I used to love Satori. The prices have been high from day 1 but the quality was superb so I didn't mind treating myself. I started to notice a decline in the quality of food the last couple times I went and after tonight I will not be back. They're "specialty" rolls are now $23 which is more than I've ever paid for a roll, anywhere. I ordered the red dragon roll which was supposed to have spicy himachi. Not a spice to be seen or tasted. The whole thing was bland and boring. And the tuna hardly covered the top of the roll. So disappointing. I could get this same thing at the grocery store for 10 bucks.
