“Craving something sweet, I came across DiCocoa’s while walking down Main St exploring. This business is a residential house storefront style really enhancing the feelings of being away in a quaint Maine town. Porch seating available with a walk-up window inside where you place your order. I inquired about the fan favorite flavors and Blueberry was one of the top contenders. While it was very good, it tasted more like Vanilla ice cream with a couple of blueberries in it. More blueberries with a creamier gelato texture would be preferred. Next we tried the Peanut Butter Fudge gelato which was very good and nutty with the gelato texture. Great place to grab a cold treat or create an ice cream sandwich with your choice of cookies and gelato.“

“I like this store . Been going for years . Kind of always the same items. I would love to see them carry more Maine goods. Wish more fudge was available online. Since fudge can sit in the case for long periods of time it can get dried out and exposed to people , it would be nice to have a closed case and a section for the fudge with nuts incase one has a nut allergy. During tourist season they should hire a food truck on the weekends and put out a few picnic tables ,“

“Ah, the Gemini Cafe in Bethel, Maine – it's a cozy spot that's become a bit of a local staple. Walking in, you're greeted by an atmosphere that's casual and comfortable, with a decor that blends rustic charm with a few modern touches. It's pretty much what you'd hope for in a small-town cafe. The coffee? Solid. They've got a decent selection that'll satisfy most coffee lovers, from your straightforward black coffee to more elaborate concoctions. And while the baristas might not be pulling off latte art that'll go viral on Instagram, they're friendly and get your order right, which is what really matters at the end of the day.Food-wise, the pastries are a highlight. Not exactly groundbreaking, but reliably good – think classic cinnamon rolls and muffins that hit the spot, especially on those brisk Maine mornings. The menu isn't vast, but it's got enough variety to keep you coming back to try something new or stick with your usual. What makes Gemini Cafe really stand out, though, isn't just the food or drink, but the sense of community. It's the kind of place where you'll run into neighbors and catch up on local happenings. The vibe is laid-back, making it a nice little retreat whether you're looking to kickstart your morning or unwind in the afternoon. So, if you're in Bethel and in need of a coffee fix or just a place to chill for a bit, Gemini Cafe is worth checking out. It might not be the fanciest place around, but it's got heart, and sometimes, that's just what you need.“
