My partner and I go to Cole road cafe weekly. The food is always great, service is kind and welcoming, prices are reasonable, and the specials menu is always interesting and delicious!Kid-friendliness: There are often other children there- they have booster seats and high chairs and while the acoustics aren’t great for children, they have coloring books and crayons and nicely decorated tables in the large room and a big window to spot birds from

Great service! Gave three stars due to food that could have been hotter, prices are a bit high for the size, and the home fries were overcooked. Muffin was small and also a bit overcooked. Otherwise, the atmosphere is cozy. Nice to see the birds in feeders outside of windows in the backyard and great paintings on tables!

Another local gem. Fantastic service with a smile. Never a long wait to sit or for food. Great diner coffee! Always great food, at a reasonable price. Specials are really something, pictured is blueberry rhubarb chicken and waffles.

No matter what people say, this is a down to earth diner hidden behind route 1. Kids working there were very nice and friendly. I got the eggs Benedict and like someone else said here, they do ask you how firm or soft you would like your eggs for the Benedict. I don't mind. Like the old school diner vibe with lots of nice and colorful pictures, decor.

Nice breakfast and lunch spot, tucked away a few yards off route 1. Bigger on the inside than it looks. Friendly and prompt service. Reasonable prices. Good size menu with a number of daily specials. We definitely will be returning. Very good value.

Really good breakfast. I got a spinach, mushroom and onion omelet, pumpernickel toast, came with home fries, and a side of home made corned beef hash. The hash has no potato in it, which I LOVE! It was cooked crispy, just the way I asked for it. Flavor was fantastic! Iced coffee tasted great. Service was fast and friendly. I'll definitely return next time I'm in the area!

Food was yum. Weird question asked when ordering my eggs bene. Never had anyone ask if I wanted soft, medium, or hard eggs. What's that about, Maine? The room we ate in was loud. As in no amount of library voice would make it quieter. The food was good though. I'd totally eat there again.
