We took a Saturday drive from Concord NH to Biddeford and looked up Middle Eastern food since we love this kind of cuisine. This place has excellent reviews so we decided to try it. They definitely lived up to their excellent rating. The service was outstanding, the food was beyond delicious and the atmosphere was relaxing with beautiful music playing. Very clean as well. The gentleman who took our order knew it was our first time there and brought us delicious baklava at no charge to welcome us. I ordered the mix grill plate and everything was fresh and delicious. My husband had the traditional gyro and loved it. We will definitely be back to eat again.

My husband and I got food here for the first time, and I can happily say it won't be the last. This picture doesn't do the food justice, but it was all I got since we devoured it. We both got some chicken tikka and a garlic Naan to share. The food was delicious, the spices were good and not overpowering. I don't know what they do with the hummus, but it was the best hummus I've had. The person who served us was friendly and knowing what that place used to look like when it was Jonesy's, I was impressed with how much they were able to lighten up the space. It was pretty quiet in there for lunchtime. I'm hoping it was just a slow day, because these people absolutely deserve many more customers. We look forward to coming back!

A beautifully warm and inviting restaurant, in Biddeford, what a gem for the area! I had the pleasure of eating here for the first time recently and was blown away. Delicious sweets with Turkish, Indian and Kuwaiti influences, and fresh, flavorful Middle Eastern plates and sandwiches. My only regret…I wish I had travelled to eat here sooner!

My oh my, I’m kicking myself for waiting so long to try this wonderful restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious and has clearly been prepared with care. The staff are wonderfully friendly, the space is clean is quaint, prices are reasonable especially considering portion sizes.We cannot wait to go back and try everything else on the menu! If you’ve been wanting to try it out quit waiting. Life is too short to miss out on this one!

We just ate at Layalina and can't wait to go back again, and soon. Every bite of food exceeded our expectations and was clearly prepared from both experience and love. We had hummus, Samosas, lamb biryani, chicken tikka and baklava. I'm going back to ask if they'll sell me a tub of their hummus because my gawd, you can't find anything even close at a grocery store or any restaurant we've been to! The staff were so nice, the facility is clean and cozy. This is not a restaurant where you are seated and have wait staff serving you however there are nice standard and bar height tables so you can eat in if you prefer that over takeout or delivery. If you are on the fence, change your mind. My husband and I have been on a mission, trying every restaurant and genre of food we can find and this was one of our favorite experiences so far!
The falafel was delicious and the shawarma beef sandwich as well.

Everything we've tried has been great. My husband loves the chicken shawarma plate. Daughter loves the hummus and eats it by the spoonful. The lamb biryani is super good too. My only minor complaint would be more sauce cause it's so good and unfortunately there isn't an option with the online ordering to request more or purchase more (I would definitely pay for extra sauce).
