Not the best tropical smoothie you'll visit. staff is confused when busy. Food and smoothies didn't taste the same(we visited many many tropical smoothies on the east coast). The girl handing out the smoothies doesn't speak loudly so no one knows what she has. Definitely not a good position for her and no one else working was guiding her. Quesadillas were cut in strips instead of rectangles. Not sure who trained that guy. Same guy(kid/teen) was confused when asked about their points system. Communication skills were poor. ?♂️

We order DoorDash and had our food delivered. When food arrived and I was able to eat I took a bite of my jerk chicken wrap(which ended up being a Thai chicken wrap). I called the location and a woman Sara answered. I was just calling to let them know my wrap was not what I ordered and I got attitude by the woman when asking who was on the make line. The new GM whos name was Mikey took over and had a conversation with me. Mikey was very pleasant and apologized unlike Sara. She offered me a replacement next time I come in and again apologized. Mikey deserves praise for handling the situation accordingly and not with an attitude like Sara. Tropical Smoothie....you need more people like Mikey working at your locations and not the Sara woman with an attitude.....it's called customer service for a reason!

Went through the drive through today and the team member didn't even speak to me. I went to scan my rewards and they didn't know a single thing about what they were doing. The member then proceeded to make my smoothie and gave me the wrong smoothie which was peanut butter and not the smoothie I ordered ! I am very upset as there are allergies that people have and the smoothie was full of ice ! absolutely the worst experience I have ever had ! the members need more training and experience before providing any customer service !!!! the smoothies cost enough as it is , if people are going to pay for a smoothie they better not get ice chunks , and the wrong smoothie which has peanut butter in it !

Neglected to tell me they only had salads and smoothies before ordering. Let me pay and tip but then couldn’t offer a refund as the manager wasn’t in. Ok, I can have the understanding of that. Was promised by multiple employees that Mike the manager would call to refund me. Walked out paying in full with no food in hand. 5 + calls to them with no answer and no calls to me has prompted this review. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.

I had to change my original rating...If I could give zero stars, I would. My recent visit was awful. I could hear one of the employees insulting me while the drive-through doors were closed. I confronted the individual by telling them that I could hear them. I didn't even get an apology from this person. Just a good 15 second blank stare. I also didn't get my order, nor did I want it now as this experience made me feel sick to my stomach. I think tropical smoothies company values have fallen short on the customer experience.

One of my favorite places to get a smoothie. I always order a lean machine but sun the sugar for Splenda. The staff is always pleasant and for 190 calories, I full of energy and good until dinner.

Mikey at the Biddeford Maine location was an absolute star! In a middle of a rush they still performed outstanding customer service. They even recommended a smoothie that I very much enjoyed. Bahama Mama (no coconut) and yogurt ? I will be a returning customer ?
