Another example of an owner not putting a dime back into a business. The place is falling apart. The food is not good. The only thing keeping this place going is the crowd of 300+lb behemoths that flock here. I witnessed at least half a dozen, amazing how people let themselves go.

I asked where all the waitresses were as we left as the front end employee played with his phone. "They quit," he replied. It's dirty here I told him. He smiled. I smiled and said, "good luck." We can speculate as to why the females quit at China Rose. Not recommended

I don’t care what everyone else says. I love this place. The people working here are so incredibly friendly and welcome you with a smile every time and lead you right to your table. It’s 17 bucks for an adult dinner and it’s all you can eat, so that’s a great deal. They have everything you could think of from sushi and salads to dumplings and orange chicken. I also love that you can do takeout from the buffet and fill a container with whatever you want. The inside is a bit run down and could use a face lift but I’m not coming here for atmosphere. I’m coming here to stuff myself with 1000 dumplings!

I have been their customer for years since I was in high school and over the years the quality of their food has gone down the choices are limited the prices have increased from $13-$17 in less than 6 weeks this year and when I was eating there on a Saturday evening with barely any people as I was getting up to get my second plate, the guy handed me my check acting like he was in a hurry and when I asked if I can grab another plate before I pay the bill, he basically told me no pay now and leave. I did just that I paid I will NEVER be back!

I used to come here all the time until I moved north. It used to have awesome food. I wasn't really impressed. The coconut shrimp had good flavor, but the shrimp was hard, and there were more pieces of fried batter than shrimp. The fried rice didn't have any flavor. The Chinese ribs were so tough that we couldn't eat them. Lo mein didn't have much flavor either.

Ignore the worst Chinese restaurant comment, I've been going here since I was a kid and they're the best! Just go at the times the buffet is fresh and you're fine. I absolutely love this place!!
We have not been back to China Rose for two years so this was the first visit post covid and it will absolutely positively be the last. I'm still wondering how a restaurant could put out this dreck and stay in business. We are vegetarians so no meat entre was ordered and it would seem to the uneducated that it is impossible to ruin a dish with stir fried vegetables but they did - the sauce tasted like weak dish washing water and there was zero taste. Even the white rice was tasteless. The broccoli in garlic sauce was just as bad, maybe worse since there was this brown gloppy sauce that was supposed to contain garlic for flavor and it too was tasteless. Do yourself a favor, no matter how hungry you might be, pass this restaurant by and save your hard earned dollars for something that at least has taste.

As much as I regret writing this review, I think there should be fair warning to others.I’ve been going to this place for years and with concern, have watched it slowly decline in quality and cleanliness.Last week I became very ill after my husband and I decided to stop in for lunch. The first thing I noticed walking by the buffet area was that although they’d only been open for 30 minutes and it wasn’t busy, the food looked old and some trays just had a few scraps of food.Upon closer look, saw that the buffet tables were not keeping the food warm at all and against better judgment, I decided to go ahead.Sure enough when eating the food it was clear that everything was barely above room temp at best.I began feeling sick about 5 hours later and it persisted for nearly two, terrible days.This was the only food I had eaten that day. My husband never got sick (thankfully) but we also ate different things.As I mentioned, I’ve been concerned about eating here for a while now. But I always turned out unscathed until now. So unfortunately, after many years of eating here, for safety sake, our family will never be returning.

I took my family out to eat here. The man serving us was harassing my 2 year old son. The waiter Constantly coming over and telling my son he needed to eat his food if he wanted his chocolate milk, Physically trying to feed my son his food. Yelling from the back of restaurant “ EAT”. Constantly poking his head in the room to see what my child was doing. I also told the waiter multiple times to leave my son alone that we as his parents have it under control. On top of that when we went to pay they were eating and didn’t wash their hands when coming to assist us. the food was absolutely DISGUSTING. The food was cold and slimy. I will NEVER bring my family back to this disgrace of a “business”. I also asked where to leave a bad review and they ignored me.

Used to come here all the time as a kid, always loved the food and the people. Never had any complaints. Until this last time. I don’t know if they changed owners or something, but let me tell you something. The food now is absolutely atrocious and I wouldn’t feed it to my dogs. Not to mention, how are you going to charge $13 for lunch and have COLD, not warm, but cold food. We went during peak lunch hour, so there is no excuse for not having warm fresh food ready. And the people are extremely rude when you bring up a concern. Will never be going back.
