Found this while looking for a place in Brunswick to get lunch. I thought the food looked great online and wow, the prices were great! Very professional, culinary kitchen. Clean and quality ingredients. You can't beat it! I owned a business by Bates College, so I knew it was worth a go, hlad I did! Definitely will be back! It's a bit tricky to find using the Google maps, so plan extra time to navigate the campus.Vegetarian options: Saw optionsKid-friendliness: Kids love chicken fingers!

While I am sure the food is good, sadly the building where the pub is located was locked and we couldn't get in.The listing should be updated either with, 'Only open during the semester' and/or 'Requires key to enter the building', so not necessarily open to the public.

I recently visited Jack Magee's Pub and Grill and I have to say, it was an amazing experience. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. I ordered the fish and chips and it was amazing! The fish was crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked on the inside. The chips were also delicious and seasoned just right. My friend ordered the burger and it was one of the best burgers they've ever had. The atmosphere was cozy and warm, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Our server was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The drinks were also great and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend Jack Magee's Pub and Grill to anyone looking for great food and a great atmosphere. It's definitely worth checking out!

Delicious food, uniqueness is a 9/10, quick service, and INCREDIBLE pricing are the best.We got the Thai wrap (delicious) and it was only $6.50 with chips. We also got the macaroni and cheese bites (I wished we would have got a dip for it). We will be back to try more options.Keep in mind: This restaurant is inside a college building behind a study lounge. Due to construction, you may have to walk 2-3 blocks and down stairs to get to it.

Great food with plenty of options and prices that can't be beat. The best part of Magee's, though, is the staff. They are kind and inviting even during the busiest times of the day.

The Pub on Bowdoin's campus in the Smith Union is a treat. They offer fresh and tasty sandwiches, salads, wraps, pizza, burgers, soup and appetizers. You really can't go wrong here. Personal favorites include the always available Cobb salad wrap, or the sometimes special seared ahi tuna BLT... If you like fried pickles, you're covered there as well. Plenty of great vegetarian options on the menu. And by all means try the fish tacos!

Looking for a cheap but satisfying snack? Try the grilled cheese sandwhich with bacon. Super tastey and just a couple bucks

Good 'ole Magee's. I couldn't count the number of nights we'd spend in Smith Union lounging on the couches munching down on grub, catching live performances or throwing back a beer. If you're on a Bowdoin College tour, aside from the must try A-rated student dining halls, this is the next best thing. Microbrews, falafals to die for and the only place open in Brunswick past 10 p.m.. A student classic in the middle of nowhere.
