Since my last review, something has gone awry. We have been back a couple of times since my last review and not really enjoyed the food. We figured it was just a one-off and gave them another try. We threw our food away. It was ruined with an over abundance of five spice and just simply not good. Dang.

Our family picked up a large order for Christmas Eve dinner & everything was absolutely delicious, and I have to say the best duck sauce I have ever had!

Excellent American Chinese food. The Dumplings are especially good.
Standard gloppy Chinese food. It seems Mainers want their food fried and/or covered in gloppy gravy. No such thing as stir frying or lightly sautéed in these parts. Food will fill your belly, but don't expect much more than that. Oh well. We'll probably try again at some point just because options are so limited in Bucksport.

I am thankful that they are still offering take out (been here several times and have always loved the food). Decided to take advantage of the early time and took the dinner across the street to the walkway/park and sat with a great view.

I usually don't eat Chinese food, but I might start eating it a little more. The beef and broccoli was fantastic, the ladies at the counter were a delight, and the cooks cooked the food pretty quick for a large order. I would recommend Ming's in a heart beat.
