Great gas prices and store but my issue is the food. I know I know who says Chinese from a gas station is a good idea? It was on our way home and we’ve heard great things about it. I can not say I agree. Everything was soggy with Grease and mushy. And days later my belly is still feeling it and my boyfriends from all the ways you can think and for days. Don’t do it.

Legit, worse food ever. Threw out $100 worth of food. Had to order a gas station pizza which was wayyyy better, and that’s saying something. Taste like sams club version. Don’t waste your money,…lot of money. Super not impressed. Try it, waste your money…. Thank me later. Sorry not sorry. Gross.

Is this place 5 star? No. Is it the best "chineese" food I've ever had? No. Is it an awesome market, with a great selection of Asian foods and spices with an amazing family behind the scenes? Absolutely. I LOVE this place. The food is, good. Not the best, but it's always hot and scratches that "chineese food" itch. The market is well stocked with Asian ingredients, tools, candy and great local beer. Especially when you consider the location. The gas is always less than anywhere around. And the family that runs it couldn't be nicer! Multiple times I've gone in asking if they carry a specific ingredient. If they don't have it, they always make a point to find it for me the next time they go to the market. It's definitely a diamond in the rough for Buxton.

I won't pull the wool over your eyes; the food here is not inexpensive, but it's worth every penny. If I could have figured out how, I would have given 4.5 stars. The food is delicious! We call in our order, which is hot and ready when we arrive. Delicious!!!Locals often refer to the place as "the Chinese gas station" when we can't recall the name. BTW, when gas was very expensive, the prices here were often the best around; better than Sam's.

Worst experience tonight!! Pork tasted sour. Threw it away. Crab Rangoons where so grease I could have lube my jeep with it!! Shrimp was soft. And mushy. It used to be a great place to eat. What happened????

The Dirtest place !!! food Iwas not sure how many days old not even recooked all cold Very Bad taste i have never purchased such poor Quality food!! 4/12 stars not even 1/2 is deserved. Bad Dirty clutter nasty place!!

Trying for second time to see if any improvement, worst. Boneless ribs drenched in sauce and all fat/grizzle. Egg roll had bad taste and did not eat, beef Lo mein bland, chicken wing overcooked onions old grease and fried rice was not fresh.

We tried the Chinese food for the first time the other night. The consensus was that the apps/pu pu were not good, but the dishes were great. We find the boneless ribs to be very fatty, we didn't like wings, my husband has nothing good to say about the egg rolls, and the list went on. I love the market though, so many great Asian options, the people were so nice and I liked that they packed the pupu for 2 in 2 separate equal containers. We needed waaaaay more duck sauce than we got. The spicy beef was so good, also very spicy, happily more than I expected. I might go back for that beef dish, it was that good
I haven't tried their take out but they have a great selection of Asian foods, drinks and treats!! It's nice to have an Asian store in our community, being Asian myself. It has essentials that can tide us over until we can get into Portland. Gas prices are phenomenal too. Thank you to the owners!

Very polite and courteous. We ordered Sesame Chicken, Chicken Ramen and Crab Rangoon. Not bad for a market Chinese food option in Standish. Better than supermarket versions but just shy of a good restaurant. Mostly because a restaurant will be rolling through more inventory and keeping key items prepped and hot. I’d order again if hungry for Chinese food and don’t want to drive 30 minutes to a restaurant. Crab rangoon and chicken ramen were yummy. Portion sizes should easily feed 3-4 adults.
