Service is not good. Probably the last five times I ordered takeout they just can't seem to text me to tell me the order is ready. I finally got pissed off and talked to the manager and I was told "oops" forgot to send the text. The food is good and I have eaten in the restaurant and service was fine.Don't order takeout. They will " mess it up"

Picked up a cheeseburger. OK food. Good thing is they had a pickup room in the entrance. Fast.

Incredible breadth of menu, fantastic food, nice ambiance, and outstanding service. We ordered the chicken piccata (best I ever had) and chicken Constantine (really tasty dish with nice amount of vegetables). For dessert we had the bread pudding and death by chocolate. Both were very good, although I would prefer raisins in my bread pudding. Definitely recommend.

We ate two meals at JP's within the last month. Our experiences both times were excellent. The service was outstanding and the food was delicious. When we're back in the area, we will certainly be eating there again.

This restaurant is a bistro, so we didn't expect anything special in "ambiance." The restaurant was clean and not overcrowded. While our waitress handed us a menu, most of the offerings appear on a large chalkboard. They have all of the standard fare, and then some. My wife decided on two appetizers, short rib ravioli and belly clams. The sauce/broth in which the ravioli were served was wonderful. Each ravioli was filled with ricotta and topped with braised short rib meat and gorgonzola. The clams were tender, not heavily breaded and served with a homemade tarter sauce. I had a combination chicken parm and eggplant parm with a side of rigatoni. That combination seems popular in Portland, but not something I've encountered in the past. It was quite good with an excellent tomato sauce. The serving was more than I could eat. A definite on our "will return" list for next year.

I just have to say.. y'all need a bigger place because people need to come here!!! Food is amazing!! Service ?! The ladies were phenomenal!! Super attentive! Super sweet! I can't rave anymore! I love a good humble down to earth sweet lil cove like this! Rare these days with big restaurants but yet lame lazy waitress/waiters.

Outside appearances don't do justice to the extensive menu inside. There is a regular printed menu but many options and variations on the large wall chalkboard. Our friends said they will make anything you want as long as they have the ingredients.Started with soft warm bread and garlic butter. The short rib ravioli was shared among our group and all loved the taste. The Risotto Bolognese was great but I had to take half home.

We have been going to JP's for at least 10 years. The food is always perfect. They have amazing cocktails and service. I highly recommend JP's for a date night or special occasion.

First time for my wife and myself with 4 others who have visited several times before. Service was very slow from 7 to 7:30 pm, but then was good. Food was very good. Started with short rib ravioli for appetizer. I had the chicken and eggplant combo. Large portions with good prices. Will definitely return.

Came here for the first time with another couple and totally enjoyed our evening. After a bottle of wine, The apps were quickly finished. The salads and meatballs were fantastic. For dinner I had the Seafood Marinara Fra Diavolo and it had some nice heat. Everyone else really enjoyed their dinners as well. We split a death by Chocolate and it was just as well. Lots of calories and goodness! Our server, Teri, did a fine job and we look forward to coming back.

Probably one of the best spots in Falmouth. Use to frequent this place when they were in the Portland area. The only issue is no one seems to ever pick up the phone and you cant make reservations online. Food and drinks will not disappoint, if you can ever get a reservation!!
