I have gone to this restaurant for over 20 years. I have always loved the food and the environment this place has had. However, the past couple times I have gone, I can tell that the place doesn’t have the same family value that it use to have. Today we went to eat with our kids, we were seated but had to wait for over an hour before our order was taken. During that time, our toddlers were getting very restless as they were done just sitting. Once our orders were finally taken, we eventually got our food only to find hair in the crab Rangoons and a crack in on of our cups so water drained all over the table we sat at, getting all over on of our guests that went with us. I told the waitress about it and we got some more crab, but it is pretty gross. When we were finished eating, we got up to pay. I paid first and then my wife held my sister in laws foster child while she tried to pay. This 1 year old child has extreme separation anxiety and was crying while his foster mom tried to pay. My wife was then rudely told to take the child out by one of the waitresses there. He didn’t have a jacket on, my wife didn’t know where his things were as she wasn’t his mom, but they made my wife leave with a screaming 1 year old with out a jacket in the middle of the cold season. There was no politeness, no please, just take the child out now. I went in to complain and I was told that there was no manager on shift and that they wouldn’t be back until Wednesday. When I tried to confront the lady who actually kicked my wife and this child out, the ladies behind the desk told me that they all told my wife to leave, not just the one who actually said it. I know what the lady looks like but they refused to give me her name so I told them, fine I would make a complaint against everyone there, as they didn’t want to cooperate and just tell me the ladies name who kicked them out. This use to be a family friendly restaurant, it is not that any more. If you have kids, of any age really, but especially young children, DO NOT EAT HERE! IT IS NOT THE SAME ENVIRONMENT IT USE TO BE! THEY ARE ANTI FAMILY, ANTI CHILDREN. My family and I will never eat here again and it saddens me because of how long I have gone here, but the past few times we have gone, the place is just going further and further down the toilet.
been going there almost 40 years, they are starting to go off track a little, but i get it with new help and all... but serving spoiled meat is unacceptable... do better or close.
