The wrap sandwiches had very little dressing, like almost none! We had the turkey and salmon, the salmon was super tough and very hard to chew. For the price there was hardly any meat on either sandwich! We to ask for a side of dressing to make them edible!

We ate here while at LL Bean. Not good. No hot food available. Salmon in wrap so salty hard to eat. Roast Beef wrap had little meat. Worse was the attitude. I asked for a cup for water. Long speech about how due to inventory rules they would have to charge me $2.50 for a cup or my other choice was $1.99 for a bottle of water. Their soda machine has a water choice...have never been charged for a cup to get plain water. And the take or leave attitude was offensive. The streets right around LL Bean. Eat at one of those.

Chowder was delicious enough to buy some extra for my mom. Prices high and entrance/exit area not well planned.

Nice, convenient cafe right in front of L. L. Bean fishing and hunting store. A little pricey, but food was good and staff was quite friendly. Got excellent clam chowder (very creamy), a good wrap, unsweetened iced tea, and ginger beer from a local soda company. The ginger beer was too sweet.

Nice lunch at LL Bean flagship store. Some seating indoors and on patio. Great sitting outside to people and dog watch. So many cute dogs. I had a flavorful sweet potato wrap and my son had clam chowder.

Great breakfast spot. Great coffee. Standard jacked up prices in touristy area.

I tried the Cuban sandwich. Very fresh and tasty. The cold brew coffee is very good also. The cashier was very pleasant.

Do not bother if you have a gluten free allergy. Cost $15.99 for a caprese sandwich that had the tiniest piece of tomato and mozzarella. Not worth the wait for the food or the price.

Inside and outside seating. We just had coffee and then sat outside. It was good.It is inside L L Beans.

This was a wonderful surprise. We had planned to stop at the LLBean flagship store on our way through Maine. When we arrived around lunch time we quickly realized that the 1912 Café was quite the find. The food was great and the unique soft drinks in the fountain were an added bonus. We enjoyed our lunch in their outside seating area and it quickly became the highlight of our day. Highly recommended!

Really slow and cramped - had a migraine and dizzy spell needed food and water stat. Husband has been in line for over 20 minutes and barley moved. I grabbed a bottle of water and gave it back to him ti pay for when he finally reaches the front it else ems was going to be called. This is the slowest, most crowded place to go to eat. Store is wonderful but a sit down table service place would have been quicker at this point to eat

Delicious, and the healthiest, best quality gluten free bread I've ever seen, but a little pricey for sandwiches. $60 (including tip) for 3 sandwiches with drinks, doesn't come with any chips or sides.

Was looking for a nice sandwich place when stopping in Freeport to visit LL Bean. The cafe is right there. Great food at good prices.

Hidden gem for sure! Food was amazing and quick, nice outdoor seating as well. Based on other reviews, we weren't sure of this place but definitely worth a lunch break.
