I love the people, atmosphere, menu, and beer here. Top 3 Greater Portland breweries in my book. Half pours (8oz) make it easy to sample the goods. Afternoons are so chill for meeting friends and the kids, playing a game or two and just kicking back. My 14 year old said "This is the kind of food that makes you want to ignore your brain telling you that your stomach is full so you can keep eating".

The young man at the counter seemed extremely annoyed that we were there was not helpful with the menu and did not really provide very good options for a family there with kids. The food was lackluster at best.

It's OK. We didn't like the whole phone experience. You scan a qr code and order through your phone. That's fine, but we didn't have a person check in with us, say hello or anything.I just think it's more of a rounded experience to get to talk to someone. Also when I got to a new brewery I usually ask questions before I order a new beer I have never tried.Other than that it was good. Pretzels are yummy and beer is good.

Good food and specials, but limited menu. Good brew selection. Cocktails are premade on tap. Very nice location and atmosphere. Super friendly staff who really seem to like working there.

Great location, great service, decent menu and plenty of seating! I love the location - it's easy to get to off of route 1 and it's not crazy with nearby businesses. Plenty of parking in their parking lot as well. We came here specifically for the chicken sandwich that was recommended to us by several people. We were able to find a table for 2 quickly - it's self seating, which I like epescially when a place is as busy and as popular as Goodfire. I loved the fact that you could just order food and drink via QR code versus trying to flag someone down. We ordered a beer and a non-alcoholic drink along with an appetizer and our sandwiches. The smashed poutine appetizer was delicious!! Definitely would get that if we come back. Disco fire - was a beer that was recommended to me. It was ok. Nothing complex and easy to drink. The fried chicken sandwich....it looked amazing when it was first brought to our table. Unfortunately the bun and the chicken was overcooked in our opinion. The chicken coating tasted great - good flavor, however it was really hard and in some case dark brown, almost black. Which led to the chicken bring dry and chewy, not moist at all (sorry for the use of the word moist) I love a toasted bun, however, ours actually had char on them to the point, it tasted bitter and we could see black char on our lips and teeth. My mom would have loved it, however, we did not. We ended up eating around the char and the hard bits of chicken edges. That made me sad, as I am one that definitely likes to leave a clean plate. Because of mostly positive experience, I will give this 4 starts. Not sure we will be back, unless we have out of town guests that want to try it. As always with Goodfire - such a great group of employees that care and work hard and Goodfire fans are always great to be around. Goodfire culture is strong!

I am a NYC/NY native. I come to Maine often. This brewery has a unique vibe. I understand where I am and where I come from so I'm not expecting the decor or atmosphere I experience back home. The minimalistic approach is much appreciated to be honest. The brewery is spacious and almost odd at first. However, the amount of sun that enters during the day makes the open space go away. In the evening even more so. The menu is brief and delicious having tried it all. The staff is very welcoming and patient. This is my go to spot for a sandwich and a beer during lunch time. Dinner time is obviously busier but I have yet to experience having to leave due to lack of tables or bar space. I would also like to mention the bathrooms are wonderful and very clean.

This was our first visit recommended by a friend. The food was excellent. My wife ordered a fish sandwich and I ordered a kale salad. Neither came with fries or chips and we didn't miss them. My wife said the sandwich was the best she had ever had and my salad was surprisingly tasty. We heard others commenting on the surprising quality of their selections so it's worth a visit. It's family friendly and relaxed. There are no servers so you can order from the counter or use your phone and order right from the table.

After spending the weekend in Boston, with some great food. Stop in here on the way home for lunch. Best tasting food had all week. Best food best service cannot say enough about how good the service in the food was. The atmosphere it's gonna be you like it or don't. It didn't bother me, it's different.

Great spot, great beer. I wish there were more allergy friendly food choices, otherwise, it's a perfect spot to grab a drink and some lunch and a 4 pack to go.

When we asked the server if we sit ourselves he gave us attitude about asking and didn't explain that you have to use an app at the table. Then proceeded to give us attitude when we tried to clarify. We left when we found out we had to tip him in advance in order to get our food.
