Nice place, friendly people, seems a bit sterile,

Great beer, atmosphere and food. I had the thunder goose and chicken sandwich. Fantastic pairing. Check this spot out if in town.

Service, beer, and food were all excellent. Great selection of beers on tap and 4 packs to go. Food menu is what you would expect with some things you may not like the shaved Brussels sprouts with parm, recommend by the bartender and were fantastic! We will be back!

Very busy, but good selection of beers. They don't serve food but are connected to a restaurant that does serve food.

Really enjoyed the atmosphere here. I enjoyed most of their beers, but there’s something for everyone! Love that they have flights and tried many different kinds.

My wife, 2 year old son and I got our food at 6 pm. Apparently they close at 6. They wouldn’t serve us a beer with dinner and also started putting the chairs on the tables around us and stared at us uncomfortably as we ate. Apparently the bartender had to work at 5 am the next day. Here’s a little advice. Don’t keep the kitchen open until 6 pm if you want to close at 6. Staff was not friendly or accommodating. And apparently no manager on duty. Not going back. Goodfire right down the road!

Good food, atmosphere is what you would expect of a brewery. No complaints, a good burger and beer kind of place.

Great atmosphere, excellent staff, good food. The only downside is being spoiled with super fresh Gunners Daughter on tap, I'm ruined forever. A must stop if you are in Freeport.

Tasty brew

Don’t come here for a meal. The beer is great but expect to wait 45 min plus for extremely overpriced food. $17 for a salad in a 6” bowl

A great place to have a few drinks and some great food. The nightawk had an amazing Reuben!

You order at a counter when you walk in. It doesn’t really look like a bar or a pub and the folks who work here are very transactional. You ain’t in Boston and you are not at Cheers. Nobody knows your name and forget about listening to your order. If you don’t know what you want or have too many questions expect to get a lot of strange looks. I ordered the Gunners daughter, had it at a local bar and it was great but was $10 for what really looked like a 16oz beer. Liked it so much we decided to go to the home of the stout. It tasted just as good as at the bar but in a less than 16oz glass even though I ordered a 16oz beer. My wife likes her beer sweet, think Belgium Framboise. So she tried the cherry lime Ricky. It was fine. Not very sweet but lacked the hoppy taste she really doesn’t like so it was all good. We also ate at nighthawks. It was an ordeal to use the electronic ordering. But we finally got it. The Cuban sandwich was a Maine version and unless you are a Cuban sandwich perfectionist this version was more than acceptable. In fact. The choice of mustard and bread added to the experience. The pretzel bites leave a lot to be desired. Think little dough balls that had nothing in common with pretzels. We didn’t order any sauce cause I love pretzels with mustard. These were pretty meh. So save the money and skip them. In both places there was an 18% tip option. Funny, I didn’t really interact with anyone. Not sure why there is a tip option, the customer does all the work and you don’t even build a relationship with the bar tender. So . . . . ?. In the end it was fine but lacked ambience and any reason to come back except of course to buy a 4pack of Gunners Daughter which I highly recommend. Take it home and enjoy it with friends and a pleasant environment, hopefully overlooking the water and a sunset. And your food or snacks will be exactly what you wanted.

This is a great brewpub. Their beer just tastes good, every time I order.Cool place to hang out for a beer or two without going to Portland, and reasonable prices for snotty Freeport. Much better place than The Maine Beer Company tourist trap.

Great beer and great sandwiches at Night Hawks kitchen. Definitely on our list the next time we’re in Freeport.
