Not gonna lie ..... the older reviews made me a little nervous. But we took a chance and had an amazing time. Im not sure if it's purely adult oriented, but our 6 and 7 year olds had so much fun. There were quite a few other kids there all enjoying the show. The food was really good. Maybe because my expectations weren't that high, but the portions were good and everything we had was delicious. No complaints on the food. The only real thing I could complain about was the expense. It was a bit pricey, but I totally understand why.Overall, IMHO, I'd give the experience an A-, B+. Im no expert critic, but the fact that my daughter is still upstairs signing about the best day ever and my son is running around with a wand yelling expelliarmus, i have to say it was a welcome and enjoyable experience ?

It was cute. Staff was very pleasant. The show was interactive with the guest. Food was good. Drinks really aren't worth the price. Mocktail tasted like watered down coolaid and drinks were just a glass of wine. Other than the drinks...was a nice experience.

This business "The Perfect Spell" is a scam. They took my money last year, but we had to cancel because of the Covid pandemic. They would not answer my e-mails to reschedule or give a refund. After making a Better Business Bureau complaint they e-mailed me and said they would reschedule , but it was their policy not to give refunds. They never rescheduled and I have made many attempts to contact them recently but to no avail. I am from out of state and all efforts to contact them by e-mail have been ignored. Their phone number has been disconnected. I am going to file another B.B.B. claim to get a refund. It may not be their policy to refund, but it is not my policy to be scammed out of my money. Do NOT use this terrible business.

Cute and intimate dinner theatre setting. The main actor was quite good and funny. The others were obviously novices but entertaining. Decorations borrowed a bit from Harry Potter and it was obvious they went to some length to decorate with recognizable wizarding world influence. It lost a star because the food was ok but super pricey for what it was, basic fried and microwaved rice (risotto) and Mac and cheese. Overall a good experience, though a bit overpriced, but a nice change from the chain restaurants.

I won 4 seats for this and my fiance and her friends were super excited to go. The seats they gave us in the corner were terrible and the view for half of my party was obstructed to the point where I couldn't see anything, and the person sitting to my left could see at least half of what was going on. They just threw in references to various magical people such as Thachery Binx, the Sanderson Sisters, and Maleficent with some Harry Potter references tossed in. The host was decent and kept us engaged, but ultimately you are just there to watch people dance to music which was not what I was expecting. The food was also terrible, my fiance and I got the mac and cheese and it didn't have any cheese on it, it was quite dry and the steak tips were nothing to write home about either, not to mention that we didn't get our food until the show was almost over, so we watched the couple next to us not only receive their food before us, but they also had eaten desert, and paid for their food before we even finished ours despite the fact that our orders were taken seconds apart. If you want to pay for terrible over-priced food and watch people dance to music then this is the place for you.

I was promised a refund by Heather in October of 2020. Months later, I have not received my refund or even the courtesy of a reply. Completely disheartening - they did not do the right thing - in a pandemic no less. Do not recommend.

The food was just OK. I thought it should have been better for the price. The show was not what I expected. It was OK. The lady that did the hoop dance was very good. Service would have been great if not for the mess up getting us seated after the show started. The theme drinks were the highlight.

This was fun, magical night... it takes you to a different place! The performers were spot on... so much energy and care!! Could not have had a better night!

A great experience. We really enjoyed our evening! Thanks again

Loved the performers, the food unfortunately was pretty awful and tasted mostly like pre packaged food. The space as well seemed a bit too snug for a live event during covid. Hopefully they can figure it out cause I think I show itself was really fun.

Despite a decent show (slightly Harry Potterish) and enthusiastic service - the 'owner' displayed a complete lack of customer service. The waitress saw that our meal was not consumed and offered to remove it from the order - she then came back and told us that the owner was going to make us pay for it. The meal was cold and cooked poorly. Don't waste your time or money on this gimmick.

I was skeptical after reading the reviews. People seem to either love it, or hate it. I'm so happy we decided to form our own opinions. We were able to purchase tickets during COVID due to some out of state folks not being able to come to the show. The transaction was smooth and we had no trouble making the new reservation in their place. When we arrived, every one was masked and dividers were set up in the restaurant to ensure everyone had their own space. My sister, my 10 year old daughter and my 3 year old son joined me. One of the complaints that I read about was the menu not being child-friendly. Kudos to my awesome server for making suggestions on how to order the dishes in a way that made them more appealing for kiddos (no truffle on the mac n cheese, for example). The food was delicious, the server (Tessa) was super friendly and accommodating. The show, which had singing, light-up hula hoops, dancing and more, completely captured my children's attention, which is no easy feat considering one was only 3 years old. In the end, it did end up being a pricey afternoon when you totaled the cost of the seat, the food, and the super cool smoking drinks, BUT we had an awesome time and would absolutely recommend going.

Great atmosphere and very interactive dinner show. If you’re looking for a unique evening experience, this is the place to go!

Not what it's hyped up to be and the management is rude and very unprofessional in responding to emails about a customer's disappointment in their experience. ***I have attached their response at the bottom of my post review***I bought 8 tickets to the show pre-covid and the business was good about rescheduling our dates to Dec. 4, 2020.They did their best to social distance everyone. The main speaker was good at keeping the audience and the children's attention, the hula hoop dancer was out of theme completely but very cool and appreciated, and the smoking drinks were cool... But the rest of the experience was highly disappointing. There were only weak references to Harry Potter and Hocus Pocus, the entertainment was not what we expected and high schoolish in my opinion, but the worst of all was the food. Very over priced and bland. $16 dry Mac and Cheese for the kids and "steak" dinner that tasted and looked like cube steak with instant mashed potatoes. Huge disappointment... Great idea, could be awesome...but poorly executed. When I sent an EMAIL to The Perfect Spell specifying that I wanted to email them directly rather than posting negativity on social media in regards to my disappointment in the experience... I was shocked with their response. From them stating "Shame on you. I should share this malicious post to public media and see how people react to it" to them stating "Next time pay more than $15 per person for your tickets if you expect a Broadway show."Unbelievable the way they handle disappointed customers. I have attached their full response with a screen shot of the email from them. I would not recommend this experience to anyone. (Not sure how to post pictures but I will figure it out lol)The email response from The Perfect Spell..We have made every attempt to put on a show that doesn't touch copywriting boundaries and you are going sit there and discredit our staff and cast that worked so hard to put this on for you even in a pandemic in which you wont find an experience the same anywhere right now. Shame on you. I should share this malicious post to public media and see how people react to it. 95% of the people coming to us applaud our team for all we did. A few 5% will never be happy and send rude comments like this in which we must learn to shrug off as there will always be your negative type. Next time pay more than $15 per person for your tickets if you expect a Broadway show. You didnt ask to speak to a manager or owner and that is your biggest mistake as we always aim to please our guests.
