Best chicken pot pie!

Local institution and family tradition to stop here. Amazing fair priced down home food. Busy but fast service they really care about their customers. This is my favorite restaurant in Maine.

The menu is a kind of overpriced. The staff was nice and the place was clean. The bread buns they brought to the table were good --- fluffy and a great flavor (if you like them, you can buy some at the counter when you leave). I got the beans and red hot dogs, which was kind of a small portion for $11.25. The beans were listed as "Maine-style beans" on the menu but they honestly tasted like they came straight from a can of B&M's Original Baked Beans. The mac and cheese was kind of dry and bland. My brother did say that their chicken pot pie was great, though. Overall, it's not a place I'd go out of my way to stop at when driving, but it fills your stomach if you're hungry and need to eat.

Nice convenient spot. Restaurant is nice.Showers are “rustic” but clean and good. I’m spoiled by more expensive stops but would certainly not turn my nose up at these showers. Nice and hot with good pressure. Can’t beat it for the price.Would recommend for any weary travellers.

Excellent stop for travelers, especially if you have a camper or RV. Basically a one-stop shop for gas, propane, gray water dumping, and food. Everyone we dealt with was super friendly and helpful. The restaurant has basic diner-type food, so don't expect anything fancy. However, the pie should not be missed. Get one to go if you can.

This place is enormous, voted one of the best truck stops in America. I can’t speak to the truck stop aspect, the restaurant had a very good chicken pie. My only gripe is the waitress was a little aggressive, asking about dessert when I still had some of my meal left. If this place wasn’t 200+ miles from me, I would visit again. I am in the area, I would consider this place.

One of us got scrambled eggs, home fries, and white bread toast. The eggs were fine. I got fried eggs, home fries, and a grilled English muffin. We both got coffee. We thought it should be a fool proof breakfast. The eggs were eatable, they came as ordered. The coffee was fine, typical truck stop coffee. The home fries were burned on one side, but not even on the grill on the other sides, so they were still hard. The toast did not have butter on it before it got to the table, so it was hard and didn't melt the butter. The "grilled" English muffin had been put on the grill with one edge having butter, and not long enough to even get the muffin warm. It did not melt the butter, it was still cold and hard all the way through. If I had wanted a non cooked one I could have asked for this one right out of the bag. It would have been the same. We were given a "military discount" to compensate for the food we did not eat. The service was ok, a smile or pleasant tone at least when we got there would have been nice. We did of course tip right, hoping to help her be pleasant for the next customers.

Restrooms are disgusting. Food may be good but I can only imagine how clean the kitchen is?

My husband and went for dinner here recently. We both got fish and chips, the fish was Amazingly fresh and delicious. Fried mushrooms were perfect food was hot and the service was wonderful. We each got a piece of fresh homemade chocolate cream pie which was delicious as well.

You cant travel the 95 north and not stop at dysarts. All day breakfast and home cooked favorites. Chicken pot pie, sausage gravy and the thanks giving sandwich with gravy are a must.
