I gave Pedro’s another try with the hope I might have a better experience the second time around but that wasn’t the case. Our party of six was unanimously disappointed with the food. The wait staff appeared to focus on pushing drinks instead of ensuring our food needs were met. The waiter never checked to ask how everything was, and our plates sat ready for removal for well past when they should have been cleared. If your priority is cocktails over food then Pedro’s is a good choice. If you’re after good Mexican food with a cocktail, I’d pass.

I took myself on a date, sat at the bar and received great service.They have vegan food options but haven't ventured into having nut or oat milk yet. I wanted it to have with Kahlua, so I just decided to have Kahlua on the rocks.Ordered a taco salad (minus cheese) + switched out the regular crema for the cashew vegan crema and added a portabella mushroom.... Omg absolutely amazing! So delicious.Overall had a great experience. I'll be back.Vegetarian options: Only a couple options are listen as vegan/vegetarian, but you can adjust some meals to accommodate your needs. ?

We had dinner and it was high quality. The enchiladas verdes were excellent. The food was hot and came quickly. The chips and salsa were homemade. The homemade lemonade was the best we've ever had anywhere.

My Fiancé and I frequent Pedro's for date night. Thursday nights are great for live music and a nice local vibe. The food NEVER disappoints and the hibiscus margarita is a must try! Highly recommend Pedro's for a night out, especially in the summer where you can sit in the patio and enjoy the beautiful Maine summer nights

First visit to Pedro's tonight with a couple childhood buddies. We landed here because it was centrally located, recommended by a friend and, well...one of the only places open on a Tuesday in January. We walked in to a vibrant taco Tuesday scene, with 75% of tables full at about 6pm. Great energy and decor. Ordered chips, salsa and guac and the (homemade) chorizo fundido dip for starters. Homemade chips were great, as were the dips. While chatting between course, the man, who we learned was the owner, stopped by and pleasantly greeted us. We were very impressed by his hospitality, especially considering he was making rounds on a weeknight in the offseason after owning the restaurant for 4 years - not something you typically experience. I had the taco special for dinner, one chicken and one ground beef, both if which had great flavor. White corn flour tortillas, slightly cooked on a flattop griddle to give them enough rigidity to not collapse with the heaps of innards. Not dry and well seasoned with a topping of guac on each, I was impressed. Overall great atmosphere, terrific service and great food. Coming in seeing a 3.8/5 rating, I was pleasantly surprised and will absolutely come back. Thanks Norm & team for a great dinner!

I have been there often over the years; consistently good food and service. My 3 favorites are the taco salad, the vegetable burrito and any specialty margarita. BTW, the churros are also quite tasty.
