We have a family vacation home in Saco. After devastating storms, our youngest child asked tearfully, “if we lose our Saco home, will we never go to Papou’s Pita again?” The food is that good.
The food is fresh, delicious, and the service is very friendly. The prices are good for the area they're in, and definitely worth it. I have stomach issues and often times can't eat foods in restaurants either due to high content in oil, spices and various reasons, but we ordered the Mediterranean chicken rice bowl and Papous chicken pita sandwich and both were delicious.The baklava was perfect. Drove 30 minutes to try this place and it exceeded my expectations. I have been searching for a great Greek place and found it here! Would 100% recommend! Wish there was one of these in Portland but I’ll drive here any day!
