TLDR: what a wonderful place Great seafood classics served here. You know how some C places have that "it" factor? This place has it. Everything tastes so fresh and crisp. The coleslaw with the right amount of creaminess and acid to cut through it all. Also massive props to the fries. Crispy but still soft in the middle. Finally, the bathroom had really soft toilet paper.

Fishmongers in Kittery has the freshest , best fish around . It is all line caught and Captain Tim provides daily a large assortment of the best fish . You can taste the freshness always ! We have been going there for years even when he just sold it out of his truck . The restaurant is really cute with delicious varieties of great food- their fish tacos are so good ! They have live music on Fridays and have created a really fun , great looking atmosphere !We would never buy our fish anywhere else ! Don’t miss it !

Live in the area and for some reason had not stopped in until last Friday night. Two weeks in a row and best seafood we have ever head. Great music as well. Met Captain Tim last week and he told us about his boat and the fish he catches. Add this to list of best restaurants on the Seacoast (and they are all in Kittery). When can I buy a NE Fishmonger Sweatshirt?

Best lobster roll I've ever had! This was the first time I ate here but not the last! The lobster roll was packed with prime lobster meat (big chunks of claw and tail) and dressed lightly - just the right amount of everything. The toasted brioche roll was the perfect compliment as was the fresh coleslaw (also delicious). We met the owner - he was very friendly and helpful and I understand from my friend (who is local) that he gives a lot back to the community. This is just the kind of local business I want to support!

Deliscious, get the frozen shrimp to take home. Add it to recipes, very good flavor.
First time visit for lunch. Basic clean interior with fish market as you walk in to seating area. Fish in fish market case was super fresh. No old fishy smells at all. Seafood chowder was loaded with seafood and tasty. Half the diners gave it a thumbs down for its thin consistency and vinegary after taste that we couldn't figure out. I'd order it again. Haddock sandwiches were good sized and fresh. Fried scallop basket was delicious- best scallops ever! Huge, sweet, fresh delicious. Shrimp are from Louisiana which is a big thumbs up. French fries are not the standard food service type- super thin, skins on, and good. Standard cole slaw and tartar sauce. I am a seafood snob and would give the seafood five stars. Four stars overall because lunch for 2 for $85+ is high in my book. That's $85 with no alcohol or dessert. Owner came over and checked in a couple of times. Way way better than the recently closed place with a salad bar up the road and other tourist places.
