“Cute bake shop on Rte 132 in Monmouth. Excellent pastries, friendly staff, and clean restroom! What more could a pastry loving traveler want when passing through! Be sure to stop. You'll be glad you did!Parking: Parking for a few cars in front. Doesn't really seem like more parking would be needed.”
“The greatest bakery I think known to man. Every meal hits. Dollar section is mintville. Perfect sled stop. Great snowmobile out back. Cozy feel with fire deals and the best food around. Nicest people on the planet work there too.”

“Good food and very reasonable prices!!!”
“This place is IPA/ DIPA heaven, definitely within the top 5 for anything north of Brunswick. Their Experience gets your foot in the door, Rear View Mirror cranks it up at 7%, and XX Experience at 8.5% is for getting properly ripped. They're well balanced and full flavored, and I can always find one I'm happy with every time I visit.Great staff, and a relaxing and unpretentious place to unwind and socialize.”

“Happened by this place on a motorcycle ride. The food is great, the service was a bit slow but it was fine. They have beer, and prime rib on Friday. Breakfast and lunch offerings all day!”

“This is a really unique, nice place. The food and service were great. Really nice 50's style car hop. The milk shakes were nice and thick. The burgers, fries, onion rings, and everything tasted great. The scallop dinner was tasty, too. The home-made ice cream was amazing as well.”

“The service and staff were excellent. The food was pretty good and portions were large. We went for the Mother's Day menu and, for the price, the food wasn't 5 star in my opinion. I was pleasantly surprised that my prime rib came with a popover, as I'm a huge fan of popovers. I was disappointed with it though, it wasn't a proper popover and it tasted like and was as dry as a biscuit.Wheelchair accessibility: Nice ramp from the parking lot. Building is old and there are a couple floor transitions. The bathroom is a tight fit.”

“Some of the best real fries and burgers around. Great place to hit a bucket of balls, a bite and an ice cream on the way home!”
“Fireworks catered our son and daughter-in-law's rehearsal dinner at the Bear Mountain Inn in Waterford. Since most guests were from out of town, the event was for 70 people. Kate, Chris and their crew could not have been easier to work with - organized and on target from planning through execution. As we are in NY, everything had to be done over email. We had gluten-free, lactose sensitive and vegetarian guests - everyone had something to enjoy - and they were not made to feel like outcasts but valued guests. We had Margherita, Meat Lovers, BBQ Chicken and Mediterranean pies to choose from (everyone had to taste everything) and a delicious green salad. Very little waiting for fresh pies (mostly from people trying decide what to get - it all looked so delicious). We added Italian meatball appetizers and brie with honey and toasted pecans. All the feedback we got from our guests was that the food was amazing. We are from NY - we are never looking to get pizza outside NY. MY brother, who had lived in Maine over 30 years was concerned for our choice of menu said it was the best slice he's ever had in Maine. The leftovers were enjoyed again later on that night and I did see some guests munching on pizza the next morning. Hire these folks - you will not be disappointed!”

“Family run with whole-heath foods and grains. Much of their food and meats they produce on the farm. Very appealing to back-to-the-earth types but also appealing to the general public. They make breakfast and lunch and have inside nook seating and outside seating as well to enjoy your meal. Upstairs they have a fiber department where you can learn to weave. All in all a very interesting destination for those who want to take a drive to Turner Maine for this, cute out of the way, farm store.Parking: Dirt parking lot adjacent to the store.”
