A very popular local choice. You're going to find the place buzzing most times with a foundation of loyal locals. This place is on the Maine Beer Trail so, if you're here for craft brews you'll need to check this place out. It's unique, beer is good, food is pretty good. Atmosphere is good.

Wow!!! What a great place. The atmosphere is beautiful! A refurbished mill building with great lighting... the beer was fantastic... the cocktails were the best! We had chicken wings as an appetizer were so crispy and our dinners were superb! This was our best experience for atmosphere, food, drinks and service yet!!! Ariana was wonderful. Thanks

Food and service were outstanding. Hands down one of the best breweries in Maine. Lots of space to spread out, nice dining room, not as loud as some breweries. Nice merch selection s well.

Randomly chose this Brewery to try when we were hungry and in the area. The parking lot was a little ways from the entrance but there were instructions on how to find the brewery that made it easy to locate on foot. The beer selection we chose was a nice variety. They had flights of 5 at an affordable price. The food was excellent. The staff was friendly. The environment itself was exactly what one would expect from the setting of a nicely renovated mill space. Highly recommend the dill wings and some dirty fries. They were the most delicious of all the flavors. My favorite beer was either the State Parks or the Coastal Haze IPA. Staycationland was very drinkable. There was a lot of room inside the brewery and the staff was all friendly and helpful. Highly recommend a visit if you're in the mood for a beer adventure!

My wife and I stopped here on our way through town in the beginning of Oct 2023 for lunch. This was one of the best brewery's we have been too. We enjoyed the industrial look, and the food was great. Wife really liked the potato skins and I had a fried chicken sandwich. If we are ever back in the area, we will be stopping here.

The place looks nice.Parking was fine. The price is why I won't go back. Two friends and I go out on Saturdays and explore every bar and resturaunt in Lewiston/Auburn.Yesterday was Baxter.I ordered a drink, friend one got a beer, the other friend ordered a drink off the drink menu. The drink menu drink was 14 dollars. Seemed pricey but acceptable, until a half full martini glass arrived. My drink was 2 shots and juice. I was charged 20.43... insane. No wonder the bartender wouldn't come back to cash us out, she should be ashamed for ringing that in like that and should also make a full drink for 14 dollar menu drinks. We are very regular Saturday patrons, but we won't ever head back to Baxter.

We went on a Friday at the busy time for dinner around 6 pm, and they had trivia underway. This would probably make it one of the busiest time frames to go.The first waitress was gruff when putting us on the waiting list, which was super unwelcoming, but it was a very busy night. I'm sure, like everyone else, they are very short staffed. It didn't start promising which was really worrisome as I specifically selected this brewery for a birthday dinner and wanted them to enjoy this selection. But I chatted with a blonde waitress to ask if we could at least order a beer while we waited, and she was phenomenal. Super helpful and sweet, and we were sat at the bar instantly. She was probably the warmest customer service we've gotten in Maine. The two wait staff/bartenders at the bar also wonderful. Friendly and attentive and it was a pleasant time. They were managing a lot of customers very impressively - never felt forgotten or in need. Beer selection really is excellent - plenty of variety for all preferences. Nice light options all the way to barrel aged and stouts to ipas. For the non-beer drinkers, there's also seltzers on tap and cocktails. We sampled 10 or so drinks on draft by getting two beer flights, and loved them all. Food was hot and we didn't wait very long considering how busy it was. Pub fare, a little bit more limited on options but generally anyone would be able to find something. I heard too late that the brussel sprouts and banh mi was a favorite. My date enjoyed the buffalo wings. Beer is definitely the star here, as is the facility. Right next to a stream, a few great outdoor patio options that looked even better at night with the fire-lit walkways. The bathrooms are divided, but have a shared sink/mirror area between the two M|F. We'd definitely come back. The birthday person was very happy with all the delicious beer choices. Big shoutout to the blonde waitress for really turning the night around and being so friendly and helpful.
