Mozzarella sticks.. need I say more?

A small, cozy, great place to hang out with your friends. Surprisingly, I had my favorite hamburgers and chicken wings in the States. Friendly crew, flexible hours for students who might starve during late-night studies, and convenient delivery! Though delivery is really overpriced (4 dollars).

The Motz sticks are the best here!

A small selection, but what they have is quite good, and very reasonably priced. The environment is nice, and the service is quick and friendly, too!

This hidden campus gem makes the best breakfast sandwiches in L/A area. Beer is available in evenings. Non-students are allowed. Cool, clean and comfortable environment.

Food and service are impeccable here. Great spot whether you're affiliated with Bates College or not.

Simple American food available late night for Bates students and anyone looking to avoid Bates dining commons. There also have a selection of beer, sushi, and ice cream shakes for those that so desire. It isn't anything special, but when I'm hungry at night it gets the job done. Fries are cheap, while mozzarella sticks, though preferred, are a bit pricy at $3.60 for 6.

Drunk? Stoned? Both? This is the place for you. Featuring a dinning room recently renovated in a chic industrial-woodsmen theme, this late night hot-spot features all the people who couldn't find someone to go home with that you've spent your week desperately trying to avoid. But not to worry! With a ample selection of wine and beers, you can drown your sorrow (in up to three glasses) until 12:30am. The food is predominately Americana, but the attempts at Tex-Mex are nice even if they're a little off putting to my stomach. My personal favorites are either a Bates Burger with an egg (Just to die for when you're too crossed to see!) or a mac'n'cheese with added lobster for the local Lewiston flavor. In addition to their hot food, the Bobcat Den also offers several cold items that are just oh so convenient for the Bobcat on the go. Speaking of cold, the F'Real milkshake machine seems to an endless joy to sober and bleary eyed students alike. Just make sure you're in season if they become too much of a regular thing! If baked goods are more your business, the Den also offers several items freshly baked four days ago in Commons on the counter by the fruit. What about the service you ask? Well, its simply a dream. The soothing baritone of the man working the P.A. system will keep you casually on the edge of your seat, hoping, nay demanding!, that you're the next lucky winner. But you're tired after a night of drinking you say, "won't I fall asleep?" Never, the gentleman working the cash register has a smile stronger than any cup of coffee I've ever had. You'll walk away from paying with mom and dad's credit card happy and wondering if he really meant that innuendo. No review of the Den would be complete with a mention of the Den Delivery. These guys are here rain or shine, or rain or snow as the case may be. Always tip them well. They will probably use it to buy weed from you next week away.
