It's Maine and it's summertime and you want an off- the- market flavor? How about lemon custard? Apple crisp? Maybe ginger? The best ice cream I have ever had -- all made here. Some flavors that one does not always see, like ginger and strawberry-rhubarb. Yesterday, I met a local organic farmer who supplies rhubarb to John's.

Come to Maine to visit daughters family in Montville twice a year. John's Ice Cream is the best I have ever had anywhere. Can't believe one person gave a bad review and said ice cream had no flavor to it. Haven't heard one person give a bad review. Must be something wrong with them.
